Manchester United vs Liverpool - who is going to win?

Post by James Coughlan »

I thought I would create this topic so we could all discuss who is going to win this FA Cup game!

I don't think Liverpool have got a chance, but I guess their supporters should have a chance to argue otherwise!

Woy will be coaching for his career so I think he'll have the strongest XI on the park.
He'll see it as a big opportunity.

Hopefully whiskey nose sends out Jonny Evans, Bebe, Obertan and son of Neville Neville.....these players couldn't even get a kick at this season's Liverpool!

I don't understand why this game needs it's own thread, were only playing lowly Liverpool.

I agree, punctuation is over-rated.

i dont reckon because i think thats the last thing either team are gonna want with all the fixtures they both teams will be going all out for the win me thinks

plus this is what fergie said in a press conference to

Last season, Ferguson saw his side defeated by League One Leeds United, but the United boss says he is determined to succeed in the competition this year.

"It is an important trophy so there is a strong desire to get our hands on it," Ferguson told Inside United. "We haven't won it since 2004, or been to Wembley in the final since we lost to Chelsea in 2007. So we definitely want to get back there. And we want to win it.

"It was a bad result last season against Leeds, especially considering the rivalry between the two clubs. In hindsight I could have picked a stronger team. I won't be making that mistake this time."

Our last hope for some domestic silverwear. Roy needs to go out with his best XI, we are underdogs anyway so theres not much to lose, just dont get smashed! I'd love a win but would also happily take the draw and replay at Anfield, more chance of winning at home :D

That doesn't guarantee that either will win though.

Kop roy has been coaching for his career the last 3 months. As for he is gonna play a strong team, well the strongest lineup Liverpool had was this season against wolves when u played em last week and u LOST 0-1. I don't see is destroying Liverpool cause all our games are always close, but I hope we win and heap more misery on your club

1-0 to a penalty (which wasn't) and a Stevie red card (which wasn't).
 Clear red. Gets only the man with a two-footed tackle.
