It is true the president has moved on, however it was for personal/professional reasons.

The rest is rumour and innuendo spread by narrow minded individuals, who are probably upset that a collegiate team can make the move across to the amateur league and win so much in their first year, when others have not won a cracker in the 30+ years they have been involved.

Wanderers will be back bigger and better in 2007.

Villa is in talks with the SAASL and if they guarantee that we can field and A and B team in Div 3, then WE WILL B playing Sat div 3.
I know its unfair that we come from Div 1 Sunday to Div 3 sat, but thats the rules and the SAASL should not accomodate for that. I would however of prefferred going to Div 2 Saturday.

This has gone a bit overboard

All I said was that i heard "A RUMOUR" about something happened at Wanderers, thats all a rumour. MAybe I was a bit early to jump the gun about the president, because I know of him and was told that HE Would Not do anything of that nature. SO I apologise for accusing of him. However, if something has happenned, then the guilty party has to be responsible. I don't really care about who did what, All I did was state a comment made to me by a player at the club. Now if its False, well then so Be it. If its True, then So be it.
Honestly I do not care.

HOWEVER, Threatening me with BULLSH!T comments like that "The V" and Donni, is NOT called for, This is a PUBLIC FORUM, which to my knowledge means - freedom of speech. If you do not agree with my comment, then either ignore it or tell me its NOT TRUE.

Either way, I, like everybody else on this forum is allowed to voice my opinions and rumours.

I don't think starting rumours about someone on an open forum is appropriate especially where stealing money is concerned - I'm sure if someone stole money from a club it wouldn't be the first time. Also I'd be disappointed if I told a "friend" something about my club and later saw it on the internet

This is where all the rumours start though. Someone hears something or over hears someone else. That is really what part of this forum is about. If you look in the local league forum there is 35 odd pages of rumours on transfers etc. Most are untrue, but some are correct. I think u just have to take things with a pinch of salt and really ignore some of the stuff on here and not get offended if its something to do with your club. It all come out in the wash later on.

I asked a question of where the rumour was heard.

I then answered it, in what I thought was a mature and reasonable way. Given that I am responsible for the Wanderers finances, I believe that I know pretty well the position they are in financially.

Wild threats?

If there has been anything posted on this thread that people have regarded as a wild threat, I suggest they go away and have a nice big glass of harden the f*ck up.

The V told Wayne Kerr to be careful, Donni advised him to watch his step... where is the wild threat?

The good thing about this forum is that people can exchange banter in a relatively harmless way and if they choose to be anonymous they can be, not that I do and those who know me know I use my real name on the forum as I have nothing to hide. However I think issue was taken when an accusation of impropriety was levelled against a particular individual. I'm sure that you would take offence if you, or someone associated with you, was labelled a thief on an open forum.

By the way The V is not defending himself in this instance.

saturday div 2 is a big fat peice of shit. No one is in awe of the club for winning so much in that league. if you repeat the sucess tjis year then golf claps to you....

I think 3 will go up 2 div 1 and up to 5 will go from div 3 to div2
