Due to circumstances beyond our control (council stuff up) tonight and sundays 7a side comp has had to be postponed as the pitch has had 50 tonne of top soil dropped on it a week early. Almost as dumb as when they poisoned our pitch in 2006 and we played on sand the whole year. Will confirm new dates ASAP. All involved let people know.

maybe all the players couldve brought a wheelbarrow and shovel each,wouldnt taken too long to shift ?

I think CC may have meant shift, not spread -as in out off the way,off the pitch ?

They top dressed the pitch a week earlier than planned and agreed, so it was spread out. Made it unplayable with some areas 3" deep with top soil, lost all marked lines and this happened 3 hours before we were due to start the last round, with Finals to be played sunday. Dissapointing form from council again.
