6 hours is usually enough. Gets harder at my age though, especially with my lifestyle. Rarely time for TV in the mornings.

Good response to the Liverpool debacle.

Cavani is becoming world class, not there yet, but on his way. His second goal was absolutely quality.

They were both very well taken i thought. The second was especially good tho.

The first game this season i haven't watched live, but from the highlights i saw it was a good win, could have conceded too if not for some luck and superb goalkeeping by Morgan.

But an important home win and hopefully San Paolo will become a fortress again

Lavezzi is starting to be the player he should be.

Too many games last season he went hiding but now this year he is standing up when it counts.

90th Minute winner this morning, we are clear third, cant wait for Sunday against Lazio - 10pm kick off our time.

Lazio seem to be sliding, so might have a good chance against them.

Forza Partenopei!

sitting third after consecutive wins

Lavezzi is back at his best, I think he is relishing the role he has been given at Napoli under MAzzari!
Also, with Cavani firing as well, Lavezzi is not double marked this year, relieving the pressure on him

lets beat the laziomerda this week!!

Obviously not the result we were after against Lazio, who are a formidable side to say the least.

They were simply more clinical than us.

Also hope that Bigon and De Laurentiis took note of how shite we are at the back and get a few centre backs.

Yeah watched the game, but Lazio deidnt impress me that much.
Napoli just couldnt score, lavezzi hits the crossbar in first half, and in second half, Sosa shoots wide, Cavani with a missed header..........Just didnt bounce for us. Lazios second goal was so arsy, they were flattered by the scoreline tbh!

Lazio are a strong unit & took advantage of our slowing, sqaure back three.

Hernanes is the type of player we needed for our midfield. A class act.

Hamsik looks as though he is starting to listen to all the hype. He needs to switch off to it and get back to doing what he does best, ghosting into goalscoring positions and finishing.

Hernanes - mamma mia, what a player, I saw him in a game three years ago for Sao Paolo - Milan, Inter and Juve all could have had him, but baulked at the transfer fee. Lazio got the bargain of the season at 12 million Euro.

to be regarded contenders for a top 4 finish the squad needs more quality.

our reserves are average.

Grava and Aronica work hard, but ultimately will never form part of a defense that challenges in the top 4. Why not play Santacroce?

Vitale and Zuniga are not nearly good enough cover for Dossena and Maggio, the latter is on a woeful run of form.

Yebda & Pazienza as a midfield pair are no better than mid table, if that.

Sosa has some value, hopefully he can deliver on his potential soon.

Lucarelli could probably manage to provide some small threat off the bench but in honesty if Cavani or Lavezzi go down we are in huge trouble.

Lavezzi is a gun at the moment. I really thought after that first Lazio goal that he would lead Napoli to victory, with the way he was running the show. Credit to Lazio, who made sure in the second half he did not see as much space. Cavani couldn't finish and Lazio were great on the counter as the match went on.

Hamsik at this moment seems no more than an average player. Doesn't do much, except for little sideways passes to keep it ticking over. But from a player in his position you want more - and I'm sure Cavani and Lavezzi do too. My old man said last night he's as useless as Amauri, and while I said not to be as harsh as that towards Hamsik (nobody deserves to be compared to that waste of space :P) he is really just cruising along.

If that's the case, tell him to straighten up, or sell while the hype is there. Could get decent cash and use it to buy somebody else in that role if he keeps this up.

im pretty sure you will find he recently signed a five year extension.

just looks like he has started to believe the hype, has been very poor by his high standards.

If we were to sell Hamsik, the club would need to work hard and take advantage of their excellent relationship with Palermo to snare Pastore. I know people think thats pie in the sky, but we all laughed when we heard Cavani was coming to Napoli too and we got him.

On the defensive front, it looks like Victor Ruiz looks like he has chosen Napoli as his destination as he fears a move to Inter will see him on the bench. Big wraps on this bloke, hope we can grab him. Then have Cannavaro, Campagnaro and Ruiz across the back. I still think the formation is too loose at the back.

Hamsik will be back, you cant play at that high level all the time.

Another striker will be handy.

He has actually come out in an interview and said if he leaves Napoli would be the preferred destination as he doesnt think he would get a game at the other two clubs.
