Hey Marooned,

Really looking forward to this tonight. Just a quick qstn re the rules. Is the keeper allowed outside his designated area but is only permitted to use his feet?

That's how I've read it but just wanting to make sure i got it right.

Cheers,

Burner.

When has a keeper ever been able to use anything but his feet outside of the designated area :?:

Shouldn't the question be; is the keeper allowed outside the box?
WHY DO THEY CALL IT OVALTINE? I MEAN ITS ROUND, WHY DONT THEY CALL IT ROUNDTINE.

Yeah the keeper is allowed out of the box but can only use their feet. In fact if the keeper comes out and scores it is counted as 2 goals. Also if anyone scores with a header its counted as 2 goals also. Correct me if i am wrong marooned!

that is correct htafc a keeper can come out of his designated area at all times and if he scores it is worth 2 goals. the only exception is if he takes a penalty that only counts as 1. Main change to the laws is the sliding tackles ban and because of the round robin format no penalty shoot out to get a result.

No slide tackles??!! I thought it was just the Maso comp that brought that rule in. Its a tough rule i reckon, slide tackles are half of my game! The other half is screwin up which i then have to do a slide tackle to win the ball back
