Here's my response: your concerns are ill-informed and incorrect. You are entitled to your opinion, of course.

which of my concerns are ill informed and incorrect, im happy to re-post them and for you to correct me!!!!!

all ive ever stated is that, while the saasl might be financially healthy, what has it ever done for its member clubs????????

if the govt continued to collect taxes from its populace and not give anything back in the way of capital spending (roads, schools, hospitals etc etc), it wouldnt stay in power too much longer.

there is a perception that the executive is an exclusive gentlemans club that has forgotten why it exists!!!!!

how many others share this view?

I think basically what would would happen if this were to occur would be that the FFSA would aquire some assets and amatuer clubs might finally have some input from there governening body

it will be all under the FFSA banner and furthermore under the FFA banner but in SA the two competitions have come to an agreement that the amatures assets will stay only to benefit the amature clubs

this is a great thing in ther long run

If the SAASL don't go over to FFSA you'll be needing to spend all that cash on referees after all... Training them!

Because the FFSA have the Referees Association already, and you won't be getting ANY official refs at your games if you choose to stay seperate...

There are not enough referees to cater to all of the different leagues in SA as it is....

Those who support the saasl joining the ffsa are short a few brain cells. What has the ffsa done for the fed clubs, BLED THEM DRY, they will do the same to the amatuers. The amatuer compition will die, long established amatuer clubs do not need to be affiliated with fed clubs as the fed clubs will also take their pound of flesh. May GOD HAVE MERCEY ON OUR CLUBS because the FFSA WILL NOT ?

Sorry said i will not post again but the issue at hand is frightening for the amatuers.

Well its a moot point now anyway, heard from a mate who was at the Amatuers AGM that the vote has decided they are going over to join the FFSA.

All the Amateurs funds will be left in "trust" and not be a part of the FFSA pool of funds.... The FFSA will be starting from scratch to develop a budget in conjunction with the current Amateurs committee and they will work together to raise funds for the Amateur game.

It is no different to the Women's comp... They will be going over and the current SAWSA committee will form the Women's Sranding Committee which will operate like a department of the FFSA, give advice to the board on women's issues in the sport and apply for a budget to run the competition in the same way as it always has.

Good Luck :D

Here we go, up goes the fines and the fees and the struggling clubs are going to hit the wall. Clubs will get naff all off players going to super league etc. Tell them to piss off and let them run their own shitty comp into the ground.
There is no I in team, but there is a u in suck...
