I can understand why you Jay, your club & every other club in the league wants him to go back to Federation

Johnny has been in the FFSA set up for years didnt really enjoy the politics, like most, came to our club were his brother plays & has been welcomed with open arms, enjoys the environment & culture down at Gardens & now has become a history maker in his first year in the SAASL. Must add it was Johnny who bought his good mate Mario to the club who has also fitted in well & has been another quality pick up this year coming with the same background. Both have become important players to the club & have big roles to play next year & beyond cause we now have the treble to defend

Mr Carter or bodo the federation would not let the Downs play Salisbury this year in the Orange Cup which was starting to be a bit of a tradition and then the federation threatened Salisbury with fines and points deducted, so why would anyone join your piss ant comp and as said by nugget even the worst side in our comp would beat your state league crud... To many biffs on here with to many user names sort it out moderators I am starting to wonder if King Nugget is really who he says he is...

Mr Nugget, that is very rude of you, after I open a polite invitation to join our elite competittion. You really have not made any history, playing in this part time so called competition. The elite level is much more than just the State league, if you where truly that good, then you would only be there one season, but I would beg the differ.

Maybe you can ask Mr Carter if there are any teams in the FFSA that are unhappy and want to join the SAASL,they are welcome, and can work their way up through the appropriate divisions.

I think the top half of Div 1 sides would beat the bottom half of the state league and be competitive with the top teams.

Couldn't see many sides consistantly beating Premier League teams.

Jay I think you would be surprised at a few results...

Fitness is the biggest thing though Nugget. The Feds guys are generally fitter and over a season that would change as SAASL step up to whats required.

Also, the majority of players (bar a few notable exceptions) are playing Div 1 because they weren't getting a first team gig or they are at an age where they dont want the commitment to Federation.

So yeah, the Top 4-5 Sunday Div 1 teams would get some results against the bottom Premier League teams and Top State League teams but not consistantly enough to say that we are better. Just my opinion anyway.
