Spain
Was great when they won their first ever World Cup and won the Euro with quality football. They became a lot of peoples second team.
But just like the French when they started winning, I'm over them.
Which country will the bandwagon be following next?

Re: Spain
Once their players all rose to stardom I started to sort of follow Cote D'Ivoire (or Ivory Coast depending on how you want it put).
But they seem to flop at every major tournament, even the African Cup of Nations.
I will continue to follow their progress as they do play attractive footy though.

On paper, they look fantastic. Can't put it together though as a team. Mind you, they were in a tough group in South Africa.
Re: Spain
Nah, everyone. Spain still numero uno and the one to admire. They kill teams by a thousand (cuts) passes. They care for the ball.
But looking at all the continents, nothing else much on the horizon apart from the young Germans maturing together (for Euro 2012 and World Cup Brazil 2014).
And the dark horse - a new Brazil going back to it's "jogo bonito" roots for when it hosts the home 2014 World Cup!
