I heard Stocco applied for Westies aswell?
So he chose a Div 3 club over a Div 2 club, or was he unsuccessful at PHW?

And I also heard that it was Brooksy that spat it at Florina Presso for not winning best player,

Hey Mugsy, you ever coached before? Ever put your hand up? or as Im thinking you just write CRAP on here under an alias. Stocco is a good coach, whats the reason behind your comment? Let me guess he dropped you as a player? I think its a pi$$ pore thing for anyone to do (Slur a coach) and more to the point a coach that has the ability to put his hand up for the job in the first place.

Good Luck Stocco, Good luck TTG

Brad French is the new senior coach at Westies.

He has a lot of experience in the amateur league and has coached both Florina and Inter to Div 2 Premierships.

I am pretty sure he has was also part of the premiership teams at Para Hills East as a player in the early 90s.

Congratulations to Brad and here's hoping for a quick return to Div 1

Correct on the above.
Unfortunately Brad's appointment will also mean that the SAASL will lose one of it's best referees. :(

Good appointment from Westies IMO. He should bring some stability to the club and most of all he saw plenty of players last year. He may just be able to attract some of these guys to the club. Good luck next year Brad.

you can't have a go at a coach for moving to feds, coaches unlike a lot of players start in the amateurs and move up where as a lot of players (and I'm generalising) play amateurs at the end of their career. stocco went on to do great things with galaxy. let alone help modbury with finding some to play first team.

If the Knights can build on the squad they have and really commit themselves to "whole" season, I believe that Dave Martin should be able to reinvigorate them and bring the best out of Knights.

Im not 100% sure to be honest, at this stage I may be having a kick next year. Not to many jobs being advertised. Was a long year this year, knocked the wind out of me a bit. I will coach if the right job comes up but if not Ill play whilst I do another FFSA coaching course. Im interested to spend some time with Chris Higgins at Goalkeeping SA to pick up tips and drills for Goalkeepers. More development next year and getting ready to go around again in 2012.
