Old Ignatians Soccer Club - 2011 Coaching Positions

A Grade Coaching Position
Old Ignatians Soccer Club is seeking expressions of interest for the position of A Grade Coach in season 2011. OISC will be playing in the Saturday Premier Division of the SAASL.

In 2010, our A Grade convincingly won Saturday Division 2 of the SAASL, finishing eleven points clear of Allstars United, only dropping four points for the season. They made the Quarter Final of the Challenge Cup, defeating Sunday Premier Division side Ingle Farm, and Saturday Premier Division teams BOSA and Salisbury Villa, before losing to eventual Cup Winners, Parafield Gardens, in a closely-fought match.

The club had an unprecedented level of success and depth in 2010. Beside the A Grade Championship, the B Grade finished second and made the Reserve Cup Quarter Final, the C Grade won Saturday Division 4 and promotion to Saturday Division 3, the D Grade won their second-consecutive Saturday Division 4B championship, and the E Grade finished second.

The whole A Grade squad has verbally committed to returning in 2011.

Remuneration is negotiable based upon experience and qualifications.

Other Coaching Positions
Old Ignatians Soccer Club is also seeking expressions of interest for our other coaching positions in season 2011. We envision that we will again field six teams in the SAASL competitions, with one of those teams potentially an 'Over 35' team.

The B Grade coaching position offers an opportunity to coach a traditionally strong team in the Saturday Premier Reserve competition. The B Grade reached the Quarter Final stage of the Reserve Cup in 2010, and lost the Final of the Reserve Cup in 2009.

The C Grade coaching position offers an opportunity to coach a strong, developing young team in a 'first team' environment in Saturday Division 3. It will be an excellent 'apprenticeship' to a future coaching career.

Our D Grade through F Grade positions are also available.
