Under 8’s – Kick-off 9.00 am
Under 7’s – Kick-off 10.00 am
Under 6’s – Kick-off 11.00 am

Coaching Academy will be hosting a series of free ‘Modified Rules Clinics’
For all kids aged between 4 and 9 years old

Benefits of Modified Rules

Over 20 years in practice

• Game ages range from under 6 to under 9.
• This game is played on a smaller pitch, max size 70x40 sq. m.
• 8 players, including a goalkeeper and 4 interchange players.
• Goals are 5.4x1.8 sq. m.
• With some modifications for the age of the players, Modified Rules basically follows the
laws of soccer.
• No results are kept and all games are conducted in a non-competitive manner.
• All coaching is carried out by adults, who have passed a rigorous course in the
training of young players, including the state law of Duty of Care.
• All coaches have a Police Clearance.
• All games are supervised by a qualified Modified Rules referee
• Value for money

U6's - U8's play on small pitch

U9's still play modified rules except on a bigger pitch with minor rule changes (offside comes into effect) 12 players per teams changes to 15 players (11 on pitch 4 interchange) and coach is allowed on pitch
