From what I understand all matches at Adelaide Uni have been called off today. Dave Keeniwell told me on the phone that at least 9 fixtures involving referees have been called off today. From my count, he only originally needs 20 refs today, so practically half of the refereed fixtures have been called off?

Hard fought battle played in shocking conditions.
The game was played in good spirits and a big thank you to Gleesons for their hospitality.
Breakers back in div 2 again next year, well done boys.

Vipers 1 v Adelaide Villa 2 (Musci 2) Reserves (3-2).

Game went on in shocking conditions played in very good spirit and very light hearted at times from both teams as you would expect. Thanks to Vipers for supplying us with some shelter and IMO too good a ball playing side to be relegated. Need to strengthen up defensively as both Villa goals came from poor mistakes but in those conditions and that 6 yard box pfffffffffffffffft.....anything could have happened. Well done to our boys preparing to defend our Champ of Champs crown in a couple of weeks and good luck to Vipers in their quest to rejoin div 1 in 2012.

sat div 5 Vipers1 v Cove3 A huge thanks to Vipers playing today when every one else was called off. kicking off early we were lucky not one drop of rain in our game on a pitch that I saw on friday was under water the surface was excelent must be some good drainage , anyway Vipers your Cs are A great bunch of lads including the 4 A's playing{ good to see Rosco ex Cove man out there} even though he and the others had to double up for the A's later, Im sorry guys but im 51 still playing still love the game but your president, ref whatevever he is is an absolute disgrace in all my years i have never seen anyone be that biased full credit to your boys showing true sportsmanship , and well done to fullback who walked off at end near the end in embarresment at his decisions Vipers players you are a credit to your club your ref is not . To my boys well done A great season ,undefeated who showed a lot of metal today , look forward to next year.

Turned it around to not only stay up, but finish 6th place in the end!! Proud of my boys and the club!! Well done Cougars!! 2011 doesn't look so bad after all!!

PS- Congrats to Southern Breakers for surviving... looking forward to another good trip to Port Elliot next year and to PPG and his Navarino boys for a very respectable 5th placing!! Stick at it PPG, sure you'll be there for another year!

Great day for the Hawks today.
A big thankyou to the MA Hawks ground staff and numerous players who were at the ground from 9.30am preparing the pitch so we could get our games underway.

Channel 9 were there taping the second half of the A's. I think they were there as a number of trees were coming down from the wind but soon turned the camera on the game after catching a glimpse of Popovic diving and dropping down in the box followed by him remonstrating with the ref. Hopefully they can get Zelko a copy

Sad to see the season come to an end.

Well done to Iggies and All Stars on promotion.

Never played in a game with such bad conditions before. We took the lead thanks to a deflected cross (and a gale force wind behind it) and then gave away 2 silly goals in quick time. We equalised just before halftime and then in the second half we controlled the game with the wind advantage. FC Adelaide got 1 back with 10 minutes to go but thankfully we held on. Good to finish the season with a win after 7 successive losses!
