They won the Turkish league, big deal. They gotta win atleast another 10 to have talking rights. But yeah, I guess they'd also have the right to talk if they make it past the group stage.

The league has been competitive for the past 4 seasons now, the championship has been decided on the last matchday and 3 or 4 teams still in the title race with only 3 games to go.

IMO Fener, Galatasaray, Besiktas, Trabzon, Bursa and Kayseri are all equal favourites to win it this season, anuone of them can take the title. Sivas were really crap last season as alot of players went to bigger clubs and were relegation battlers but finished in 2nd spot twice the seasons before, they look solid but doubt you can add them in to the title race, but they will cause upsets which they already have by beating Galatasaray 2-0 in week 1.

wouldn't count Ferner or Kayseri in that, both have very ordinary squads

It's because of the Champions pot and non-champions pot they have now, you can't really complain much it's the Champions League ain't it, so win the league and play CL football..

Funny that bookies have us clear favourites to win the league though, unless you know something they don't.

We'll score the most goals that's for sure.

still have your faith in them?

and it doesn't matter how many you score if the opposition scores more

What I meant by that was our attacking force is just too good for the weaker teams, but then we go back to what I said before, it's a competitive league (top half) and obviously we'll lose every now and then

Spain were favourites all the way through and I believe they won the WC.

But then they got KO'd by another team who also had a ''decent chance'' of winning the World Cup, your arguement is pointless.
