My comment is in relation to your imbolistic, uneducated comments telling people to toughen up because this is a "man's game"... Clearly you don't take the 'supposed' incident seriously. Any claim of harassment needs to be fully investigated by both the SAASL and the police.

YES.... Pontian player threw an elbow! Yes...... reff brandished a red card! NO..... downs player squared up to Pontian player, he ran about 5 metres and hit him from the side! Players rushed in...... Officials and 1 non official ran to break up the situation. the non official in question is the father of a plaer and 1 of the nicest guys u will meet! However, he witnessed his son being held by the throat and a punch being thrown to his face so he reacted to help his son!!! Wrong to be there in the first place, but dont blame him for reacting in that way! An elbow thrown is an ugly thing, but a hit in the head to someone who was not even looking is worse.... especially since the ref already had the red card out! DOG ACT!!! But got what he deserved during the ensuing melee! Alot of people not even there are commenting on the issue and judging by what they saying..... obviously have no idea! And if Pontians are so crude on the pitch..... why dont they cop red cards every game? And why do u only mention HOME games? Surely they would be the same everywhere they go???????

Why is everyone ganging up on Pontians? Downs say player was elbowed off the ball, Pontians say it happened challenging for the ball... Yet everyone leaps to the defence of Downs?

I for one agree with Bomber - why the hell would a team 3-1 resort to that and start a brawl?

you clearly have never attended a pontian home match before have ya pal? they have some real quality players who repeatedly let themselves and their club down with underhanded and behind the play antics. their forwards are good players but have the biggest inferiority complexes i've ever seen and feel the need to greet defenders with a loose elbow to get the job done. this is not the first time pontian officials/fans have run on the field and imo something needs to be done about it. lastly, if pontian want to lose this reputation that the minority have made for them then they must weed these guys out and piss them off. its div 1 for christ sake. this behaviour is unacceptable!

Agreed with you Triple M however I hope the result stands even if Pontians are to blame.

Knights beaten by a fluke in the B's and also deserved something from the A's but Inter showed how to take their limited chances with two excellent finishes.

Personally I didn't think we (Knights) created many chances either and Inter looked a bit better going forward

In the B's, was an enjoyable game, we had 2 great chances but missed when scoring was simpler - great 35 yard goal from Pat but I don't think anyone there thought it was intentional

Referee was excellent and helped make the game enjoyable

Hope Inter don't go up, they have a good pitch

We were definately clad to see the shot scuffed and ball go out aprox 15yrds to the side of goal.

As far a a good pitch... ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? we don't even like playing on it, so many bobbles we may as well be playing with an AFL ball.

Good luck to the boys from the Knights for the last couple of games... Hopefully we won't be seeing you next year, and I say this in the nicest way.

Well it sounds like the SAASL need to revamp their policies, not only are they derelict in their duties, there attitude towards resolving issues before they arise with official requests seems to go unchecked. They are lucky another brawl didn’t start. More to follow if the SAASL fail to do anything about it, I think their big money pool might have some legal action to loosen their purse if they don’t start listening to clubs. Having a minor sexually harassed is deplorable. More to follow if not resolved SAASL! I hope your listening coz a storm is coming, how you can compete with FFA/FFSA when you can’t update your results on time, you fail to follow through with your own policies and fail to give every club a hearing and take notice. WAKE UP!

If clubs can get the council of clubs going, maybe just maybe, something will be done, coz the normal letter and phone etc, Fall on deaf ears. Literally

I went on the pitch last season when my son was involved in a nasty 3 way collision, only went on so i could get a pic of him to post on the forums
