Div 5
Inter 0 v Flinders 2?
Div 4
Inter 3 v Flinders 2
A disgraceful game played by some of the Div 4 girls at Flinders and undoubtedly the WORST REFEREE EVER who decided to stop the game as he thought a sunbaking dog was dead (and thats just the beginning!!)

Reserves
Cumby 2 - 1 Fulham
Prems
Cumby 1 - 1 Fulham
Was pretty disgusted to see a Fulham player kicking a girl in the shin and stomach as they got up from a tackle...

Re: Results 22/8
when the fulham player is lying on the ground, and kicks her leg up at another player as they get up, id say its intentional.
Re: Results 22/8
I assume that was in the reserves game?
Prems game was good to watch, with both teams playing with determination. Lots of good solid tackles (even if the ref was a little inconsistent with both teams), lots of passion, lots of near misses (at least 2 off the woodwork for Cumby), and at the end of the day imo Cumby unlucky not to get the win.
Hope MJ's knee is OK - any news?

Great result for Cumby IMO. Fulham are the third team and in the cup final.
Sorry to hear about MJ. Very unlucky.
How did that happen?

It was Sal Inter that got all the warnings on and off the pitch and the yellow card that should have been a red 30 seconds later. The ref let Inter off lightly.Smiling Assassin wrote:

The way some sides are stacking their "B"'s with prem players, this must be the most valuable
silverware on offer this season.............
Re: Results 22/8
To soccer4life...the ref let Inter off lightly. Surely you are not serious.
The referee was an absolute nightmare with his continual stopping of the game (including the time he wanted someone to check on the welfare of the dog who was enjoying a lie down in the sun) and lecturing both players and coaches.
Every tackle was penalised with a free kick promptly followed by a lengthy explanation.
The man had no feel for the game and appeared to have swallowed a rule book. I didn't see anything from either team which
warranted the continual interference from the referee. Its a Div 4 Women's match where the game is usually played in the right spirit if allowed but unfortunately that was not the case at Flinders yesterday.
Even the Flinders coach would agree and it was topped off by the last minute penalty which the Inter players appealed for handball only to find he had awarded a penalty against them.
As for a send off well if anything yesterday warranted a send off then you must have gone to the same refereeing course that the knucklehead officiating went to and as a result most games would end up being contested with about 6 players left per side.
On a sad note Inter's captain Sarah Harman hurt her knee yesterday in a collision with the keeper and will miss the rest of the season. We wish her a speedy recovery.

Re: Results 22/8
I dont think anything that referee said or did should be taken into account at all, he was a joke. from where i was standing Flinders went out there for no other reason then to take out Inters players, unfortunately with the disgraceful tackling (rolling) by your keeper she succeeded. and dont even get me started with what she did on pitch during the div 5 game and their coach!!soccer4life wrote:It was Sal Inter that got all the warnings on and off the pitch and the yellow card that should have been a red 30 seconds later. What are you going on about? Is this because of the intentional/not kicking?
Will MJ be ready for W-League? If not, that's a massive blow for A.United.

Seymour 8-0 winners in a good fought game. Thanks to the Seymour coaches and officials for helping our goalkeeper out. Much appreciated.
Have Ingle Farm folded or is this just a coincidence that they are getting 3-0 losses against their name?

Ingle Farm haven't folded. The team has been getting much better, to hold Toros to a 3-0 loss is a great result, if they can stay together next season they will finish in the top half of the table i think. Congrats to Tim on all the hard work he is putting in and support from JayWalking.

OMG, you are delusional! Your bad-mouthing and bitchiness is destructive to women’s football and only highlights your inappropriate and overly aggressive attitude.
We'll just have to agree to disagree.
