Another comprehensive defeat for Fulham. Even with MJ Rajcic back in the squad they couldn't hold Olympic back.
Last time it was 4-0 for Olympic and this time it was another entertaining game with many goals scored.
Olympic are definitely a force, not every team can smash the likes of Fulham like that.
They have the most impressive line-up and are very strong in all positions, beating them requires a lot!
The only question now is: can they actually deliver or are they just the "best on paper"?

I didn't see the Fulham game but I don't know how important is that MJ is back or someone is missing. Also other clubs miss players and you don't hear anything about them! Cumby are missing key players every game and they still play...so are every team that I saw so far...Maybe it's just that Olympic are too strong at this point. That's all.

Reminder Bad Egg, Adelaide City smashed Fulham 7 nil. No one from Fulham have used player unavailability as an excuse. My previous comments were made to persons on this forum in relation to postponed games. One would notice prior to this weeks game that Fulham had played more of their games than any other club.(refer to tables). So postponement was not an issue as far as Fulham was concerned.
My observation of the game on Sunday was a distinct lack of accountability by Fulham players to opposition, hence they got smashed. I am sure that Fulham will do a lot of work on this, and gel into a well oiled machine for the remainder of the season. There is still a lot for them to play for in the next month or two. :)

Fulham is one of the strongest teams and I'm always a bit shocked when I see them getting thumped so badly. I think that conceding 5 goals is demoralising for any team, players and coaches must be very disappointed even if yeah with their full squad this would have been different. Obviously they couldn't step up when they needed to, and they have to wait to regain their full squad to be competitive...

As other ppl said on this forum, all teams play with missing players but it's hard when you come up against some strong teams like yesterday. Olympic are a real force and beating them requires all your best players playing a great game. Like it happened with Sturt when they won 4-0 or when Fulham beat them in the cup in round 1.

Firstly I would like to congratulate Cumby Reserves for their hard fought win against Adl City yesterday 8)

As far as all the talk about prems teams having key players missing, most teams are in the same situation and we all know it - I don't think anyone (especially Fulham) is trying to use it as an excuse, it's just the way things go sometimes.
It can be worse some weeks than others, but it gives the youngsters a chance to step up and get some experience at Prems level.
For example, I may be biased but I think Cumby played well this week with 1x14yr old, 2x15 yr old and 3x16 yr old players in the team - they may have had quite a few players missing (Ellie, Meg, Fran, Tatts, Rach, Molly and a few others) but the girls who could play actually gave City quite a good game for maybe 85-90% of the time and despite the result they can hold their heads up high. The result could have been much worse with more than half a team missing against a team like City, but it's a team game and when some team mates are sick or injured then it's good to see the rest of the team work together to try and compensate.

Whats the FFSA's ruling on abandoned games? Do they play at a later date?
