When seagulls follow a trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.

Massive day down at Vale park today with heaps on the line...

Phone scores sent through are:
A's Vale 2 - Farm 1 :D Massive job by the boys today to achieve this result and hopefully this will inspire the lads to really finish the next month or two really strongly.
B's Vale 1 - Farm 1. heard it was 1 nil at half time but as always the farm fight to the death and managed to get a point out of the game. Beach result from today now becomes huge as the gap might now be 7 points with 4 rounds to play (one of those being vale and beach)
C's Vale 0 - Farm 1. The lads just can't seem to get the results that I believe they deserve. Farm c's are always strong so the boys should hold their heads high as no doubt they put in a huge effort.

Bs Raptors 6-7-8-9? - 0 Bosna

As Raptors ?3-0? Bosna

Game got cancelled by the ref at about the half hour mark due to an onlooker 'threatening' the clown... i dont know correct me if im wrong, that means that you can get a person or two to go on the other teams side and start yelling abuse and threatening the ref and he will cancel the game and give the other team 3 points.. if thats how easily games get cancelled, then 90% of football matches should be ended before the final whistle...

nonetheless we never fail to dissapoint entertainment wise.. Bosna Adelaide what a circus :)

Raptors were leading 2-0 at about the 35min mark, and Bosna were down to 10 men,

It was all but over, a spectator told the ref he would kill him after the game so the ref called the game off.

I just hope SAASL make the right decision and give Raptors the points they deserved.

Surely they cant make Raptors replay the game, otherwise every team could threaten a ref if they are losing to have the game replayed, and what about the red card and yellow cards that were issued?

any thought on this?

ye but did the players deserve for the game to get cancelled due to some onlooker who is not involved at all with the club...? if not a complete replay, a replay should be played from the 30 min mark, at 2-0 for raptors..

by the way that pitch is by far the worst that i have played at.. maybe last nights rain didnt help but that was a disaster.

Typical scrappy C grade game, shyte to watch. nil nil prob woulda been fair and doubt you'll get too much arguement about that from either side

Reserves was played with a MASSIVE sludge patch on the pitch which didnt help the quality. Well taken header from a free kick to get Vale 1 up. Cant remember how I.F. scored but they were piling the pressure on late, prob Vale lucky to hold on.

A's was a cracker, farm missing a penalty to level the game at 2-2 and Vale defence holding strong under a pile of Farm pressure late! GREAT 3 points for the boys today!

#1...yeah right...not involved with the club.... :clown: a casual nuetral spectator is so incensed by what is happening in a Div 2 game, that he threatens the refs life (which is a crime)

#2....the players deserve whatever their club marshalls on the side lines allow their spectators to do!!!!

Modbury Vista vs Southern Knights

Reserves 5 - 0

A's 2 - 0

Good day for both teams today, neither team were really troubled in very windy conditions which made it very hard to play good football.

Wow, Munno's really in a poor run of form. After looking like they were fav for promotion a few weeks back are they looking like throwing that away and spending another season back in div 3?

Well in to Vista for the beers and the food spread...always appreciated.
A's game was won in a 3 minute period of Knights madness :(
B's might have been a different result if I had't gone on in goals at half time....might only have been 4-0

Pontians 2-0 Vikings

(res 1-2)

Kudos to the ref of first team game who (refreshingly) was very good and allowed the game to flow and stopped the game only when warranted/required.
