Tough game, neither team with many real chances and could have gone either way, congratulations to Birkalla on making the final.

Hard lesson for the ABE lads - it can be a cruel game sometimes.Time to fire up and make sure you win the league

WT Birkalla bt Adelaide City 1-0 (I think) in extra time

Got caught between watching this game and the ABE v Playford match

was 1-1 at half time with the wind having a huge outcome on the game, playford kicking with the wind in the 1st half should have had a few more goals but couldn't capitalize. a few defensive errors in the 2nd half allowed ABE to slot 2 more away to clinch the finals spot against Birkalla. Both teams played well in very windy conditions

Should be an interesting final, but I think Birkalla will have the edge and take the Cup

Handbags at 10 paces at the end of city and metro.... lot of running in and threats , bit of pushing but not much else.... some of the spectators or coaches need a long hard look at themselves, man handling the kids is a no no. Fair enough if from same team but but a city fella being quite rough with a metro player was unacceptable.... a player from both sides sent off after it settled but prob lucky not to be more. The bloke who had a go at the ref after from city , mate ya lucky only the 1 lad was sent off. Obviously a bit of feeling between the 2 sides...

There wasn't much in it, just a few players pushing each other around..... I dont think there was any need for the red cards as there were no punches thrown or anything like that, just got a bit heated up after an intense game.

true there wasn't much in it, but when you are chasing people around in a threatening behaviour and raising your fists then its a send off offence.... the game was over, just move on. Just poor sportsmanship from both sides. There is a dignified way to win and lose...

Agreed - just a rumour at this stage. But given the source and the way it was put to me, it would definitely be worth asking the question of the FFSA to confirm one way or the other.
