Boys State Teams

Good luck to the lads in the 14s state Squad for tonit. I believe they'll be anouncing the team for the Nationals at Coffs Harobur later this year.
pity some will have to miss out - theyve all traned very hard.

just have a look around and see who has the biggest calves... this kid is owning the 19s at the moment

initials --> M.B.

our victorian counterparts are still finalising their final squad. what I've heard is the group that's training now, 20 or so of them get to stay with the final squad once its announced and get to train one night a week with MV. not bad hey!!

did the lad who captaned the team last year in the final at Newcastle get picked for this 14 squad? he seem to do a good job 12 munths ago - so if he got picked hed probably be on eof the candadates?

birbas, yeah, quality player but not selected this year, not even a reserves spot.
interesting as both him and trimboli have been overlooked this year
incredible really how these 2 were overlooked...

i coached these 2 in the 19s this year... Michael had a exceptional year and often played in different positions showing his versatility. Anthony was promoted from 15s to 19s this season also and the boy excelled... Scoring 19 goals in total... also inc a top 10 finish in the u/19s premier league player of the year!!!

quite puzzled how these 2 were not selected??? :roll:
