Any scores come through from BOSA and Adel Uni's div 5 games?

St.Peters Div.5 game called off for a brawl!?!!
It was only recently there coaches were slagging Cove for being a team with no discipline....
No their side has plenty of discipline......

When they go down their game plan is to whinge to the ref and take cheap shots until they get back into the game.

We went 1-0 up early (Billy scored)...I was told it happened in the first minute with a free kick from near the half way line .. I didn't see the goal as I was still in the car..
Second goal came as a result of a good run on the right from our striker, he out muscled one of the centre backs then dribbled along the corner line cut back in and had the shot saved by the Cougars keeper only for the ball to fall in the path of Kanga who finished it with a shot in the top corner.Third goal scored by Curzon from a scramble in the box after another excellent free kick from Billy.
Cougars got a goal back in the dying stages of the game after a supposed clearance from our centre backs hit one of our midfielder and ball fell nicely for the cougars striker.
It was a closer game than the score suggests, though game for the boys today but we took our chances and the Cougars didn't. That was really the only difference in the end.I must say this was the best game Cougars gave us since we have been playing them.

Thought Ziggy's crack from a free kick near the half way line was an absolute belter! Would go as far to say that I dont think I have seen a free kick get hit so sweetly in all the amatuer games that I have both ever played in or watched. Would like to see you guys take it all the way and gain that second promotional spot to the Premier division.
Was happy with the way my boys played today. Thought we stood up to you guys and had many chances to score.. but as you mentioned, you capitalised and we didnt.
Time to get ready for another hard one this week, Iggies here we come.

Vipers going very well at the moment and scoring freely. Will be a very tough ask for Stirling to come up with another shock result.

Well Done Adelaide Villa, so far, well deserved to go back to back and perhaps even back to back to back. Good boy's and good club. If it weren't for my injuries I would love to still be involved with them. As usual they will finish strong and celebrate hard.

Sorry to have jumped the gun but can't help it.

I agree on that Dexter, I would love to have kept playing if it weren't for my ankle. Keep up the good work Jack....

Budapest 1 Breakers 0, Zelko scored a penalty and missed one too. A dull game with both sides not really looking like scoring. (other than the penalties)
Reserves 2-3 to Breakers with the boys coming from 2 nil down. ( could go on about the club ref but as we say they are only volunteers so best left alone).

There used to be a Strath person on here posting their results. Doubt there is anyone from Hazara or Greenock.

Saw a brawl break out in one of those matches, not sure which one. Anyone else know what it was over? Also, the ref in the same game was shocking. Should have handed out a red or two and tried to keep the match under better control than let it get to the point that it did.
Division Four
A's: Old Ignatians 8 Adelaide Uni 2
8?!

I lost count of how many times Alex had to pick the ball out of the net.

Who is their (OISC) No. 8? Class player with bags of talent, imo.

The A Grade game got heated towards the end. The ref could have red-carded players from both teams. Linesmen and spectators however should not be running on to the pitch no matter what the circumstances, as it just inflames any heated situation. I'm very glad ours had the common-sense and restraint not to do the same.

8-2 is what the teamsheet said! Number 8 is a former A Grade player who has decided he just wants to play with his mates at that level. He is turning 40 next year.

The newspaper did not have the result for Flinders (3) v Strathalbyn. Can someone from Flinders please confirm it for me as the SAASL website is not currently updated either?

Why does the newspaper have the results ahead of the website? SAASL had started off so well when they set up the new website, with the results being up on Sunday nights but they've become slack again :x .I've noticed goalscorers have not been updated for two weeks either.

Cheers guys.......always welcome at Adelaide Villa any time you're ready.
Still lots of work to do with every team with something to play for or avoid. It's always a better feeling sitting top and now in control of our own destiny. Still in the cup also which means no time to recover.....take that any day though.
