The cobwebs and dust build-up would make it a fair bit heavier as well.

I wonder how many careers Liverpool will ruin this season? What's Liverpool's business plan? Sign as many free players as they can, sit them on the bench for a couple of seasons then sell them for $1-$5 million?

They got Joe Cole for free, but besides him its the usual signings of overpriced nobody's. (I'm still laughing at the $25mil they spent on that random Italian guy).

Goodluck this season, you lot need it.

I wonder if the balance of posts in this topic will be from non-Liverpool supporters stirring the pot. Early indication is yes.

If we're so sh|t, leave us to our misery this season.....

So was Berbatov. We could really learn a thing or two from United regarding big money transfers.

Everyone is buying players for ridiculous amounts, including Man Utd. This is not the argument

Atleast the players we sign "big" have some sort of positive reputation, if they flop after we've signed them well too bad.

What reputation did that random Italian have? Lets see, injury prone and hasn't played much football. So what do Liverpool do? They sign him for $25mil... Please

There's football outside of England, y'know.

At least there's still a chance our big spend can do something. Signed him injured, halfway through a season, don't think anyone held much hope for him for his first few months.

oh yeah, I saw him
he was the one fucking up all the time, making sure that Spain became the lowest scoring world cup winners ever
oh, and is he the same bloke that injured himself a couple of minutes after coming on in the final?
