Hey, I was just wondering if someone could let me know what time the Munno Para vs San Marco match will be played at this Sunday

Used to play for Para as a young'en (even tho I'm still only 21) and was thinking about getting back into playing next season. I figured the first step would be to check out the level of competition I'd potentially be playing against, plus it will be some outdoor entertainment, hopefully in the rain.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to the games
I played Under 9's (1998) through to Under 14's(2003), with Under 13's and 14's being for the Federation team coached by Nick.

Damn, looking back on the years it didn't feel like it had been that long

Simply not enough players made the trip down. people who were expected to play failed to show. not good i must admit.

Yeah that sucks for the rest of the team, you would have thought given that they were sitting equal top they wouldn't need too much extra motivation to get out there.

They have just handed a massive advantage to the Lodge, even if they beat them this weekend there is a huge gap in goal difference.

Scary thing is... IMO if they guys rocked up and even trained we would push for promotion.

We have so good quality players... its just amateurs... and they treat it as so.

Both if the As and Ressies were fit and had the full team list... they would be very strong for Div III

So are you struggling with injuries and suspensions atm? Or is this just a figure of speech :?:

Attention BeogradGeneralsC's,
firstly your team doesn't have that many quality players. You would never push for promotion with that team (keep dreaming). You guys are just an average team in Div III. Failing to understand that just shows what kind of soccer knowledge you have.

Pep our C's are very ordinary and would not be pushing for anything let alone promotion.
Our A's and B's in div 3 are a different issue altogether. They are more than just average sides. I dont know who you play for but I wouldnt be knocking any other teams.
I think our A's are starting to find form with the next 2 weeks being critical to our possible promotion. If we were to win our next 2 games it would open the league up for San Marco and Blue Eagles who are also good sides

"Average" - so I assume that beating premier league sides on Saturday and Sunday as part of the cup defines us as being average?

Disagree.
If Beograd took it seriously, trained twice a week they'd be top - simple.
But theres a reason why all these natural players are playing amateurs when skill-wise they are good enough for higher level.

We - Asteras - in the first XI are very similar. There's at least 4-5 players who could easily play Premier League if they got fit and were dedicated to train 2-3 times a week as opposed to once a week or once every 2-3 weeks.

You may have beaten a couple of teams in the top division, but you are still average. Get promoted and prove me wrong. Training, commitment, disciple, etc are all part of a winning team. You guys are good but not Div II or above on a weekly basis. Do you know what are you talking about?

Why dont you tell me who you are associated with Pep and then we can be on an even playing field. Are you one of these guys that believe you are only good if you play in the higher Divs. I think teams like Western Strikers are proof that there are good teams below those Divs.
Training, committment, sounds like the things fed clubs do. If your good enough you should be playing up there. This is Amateurs after all.
Two of our players in the last couple of years have dominated in the state league. Not bad for a Div 3-4 side.
We havnt beaten your team recently have we - you seem a little bitter.
Here is something you might find interesting, our keeper is really our reserves striker. Our leading goal scorer is actually a defender and in our victory over South Coast we had 4 B's players and our left fullback in goals who is 5ft10 at a stretch.

he speaks the truth. we were 1 nil down after dominating the first half and then conceded 4 goals in about 15 minutes.

definately not their normal squad...

It's not important who I'm associated with. What's important is that you listen to what I say because, given your minimal soccer knowledge, you might learn something. I know that your Cs are not good given that they lost a couple of stars from last year. Who are these two players that have dominated in the State league in the last couple of years? No , you haven't beaten us recently, and if we were to play against each other, we would need a scoreboard that can accommodate 2 figure numbers. I know who your keeper is and, in fact, he is not that bad. I also know the leading goal scorer, who is another quality player. You have 4-5 good quality players. I'm not knocking your club or these players. What I'm knocking is your soccer understanding.
Football is not a funny game, you are a funny game.

Pep I dont need to listen to what you have to say, you have no idea what you are talking about. Its pretty obvious your one of those peckers who is too scared to show who they are.
Its ok, Im not going to hunt you down and beat you (although you probably could do with a good beating) :D
Double figures, wow you must be a apart of a fantastic football club.
Are you still in the cup - we might get to test that theory. But thats right your too scared to say who your with.
Youve inspired me. Im going to train tonight and just mabe one day I can be a fabulous footballer and join a wonderfull club like yours
I also failed to mention Asteras who also fit into the category of good teams that dont take it too seriously.
Hey do you think if we combined the best of us, Asteras and the Srikers we could be as good as you. Please please tell me we could be as good
