whenever the media mention a "loan for the first season", it usually means the transfer isnt true...Scudetto8687 wrote:Apparently Milan have stitched the deal up already. Loan for the first season and then 7 million euro payment.
Napoli on the verge of completing a deal for Cavani from Palermo - please let this be true!!!!
clubs never do this, because what if he gets injured or doesnt play for a whole year?

Great signing for us.
In Italy a lot of the deals are loan in season 1.

Check our signings of Simone Pepe and Marco Motta - both struck in the past month.ruud wrote:whenever the media mention a "loan for the first season", it usually means the transfer isnt true...Scudetto8687 wrote:Apparently Milan have stitched the deal up already. As for "what if he gets injured" - well again, look at Juve, with Martin Caceres last season - it means we didn't take up our option to buy him.

there must be an injury clause i guessJuventino wrote:Check our signings of Simone Pepe and Marco Motta - both struck in the past month.ruud wrote:whenever the media mention a "loan for the first season", it usually means the transfer isnt true...Scudetto8687 wrote:Apparently Milan have stitched the deal up already. Re: Sokratis Papastathopoulos

kop only sees AEK, nothing else, if its AEK its good, if its anything else its crap, getting boring to be honest with u kop, this guy is not that good, but if u say he is then ok lets agree with u
And this is why this guy has no idea as many have always said. Good one mate anyone with a football brain who watched him play, any regular viewer or true Greek soccer supporter would have know this was quality from back then. You could just see the kid pick the ball up in Defence and run through the middle of the pitch.

Kyriakos Papadopoulos is another defender who looks to have huge potential, the 18 year old signed with Schalke after attracting attention from Manchester City and other clubs around Europe. He's done extremely well in his pre-season games with the club. If the development of players like Papastathopoulos, Papadopoulos, Ninis etc continues Greece can build themselves a very stong side.

Don't know much about him as a player but he'd be a cracking score in scrabble.
