Re: Vista V Gully
It is my understanding that Gully wont play it as a result of players not being available for Gully, which is fair enough however TTG were quick to jump on the idea when it suited them for club revenue and crowd numbers. I understand why that would leave a sour taste in a few Vista mouths.Jairzinho wrote:same old vista... always whinging

Re: Vista V Gully
Unfortunately due to reasons beyond our control we are unable to play on Friday night. And as for it not being a problem next season I thought the league might stop night games at your ground next year as the lights are not that good.
Game is this Sunday at Vista.
As for any other comments on here dont get caught up in Chinese Whispers. Vista were informed with plenty of notice and Friday was cancelled reluctantly and we have apologised for it.
As for us jumping on an idea when it suited us? Thats just a ridiculous statement.

Perhaps you should just worry about staying at one club for more than half a season...Vista09 wrote:Due to Gully pulling out of the friday night fixture after taking full advantage of the home fixture on a friday it will be on the Sunday ;)

Night or Day... It doesnt really matter..
Its a game of football, 90 minutes, 22 players...
Should be a great game, Vista need the points to stay top and Gully are desperate for a win to avoid relegation and Div 3 football next season. Both sets of players im sure will play with their hearts on their sleeves and do everything they can for their respective clubs.
IMO: - Modbury Vista 5 - TTG 2

Re: Vista V Gully
a friday night game would have been good however decision made, move on.............with the weather the way it is, i doubt a good crowd would have come down anyway and i'm sure the gully faithful, before hitting the GG, will support our club the same way we did theirs.
You go on the p*ss all day, you've ballooned out like the Pillsbury Doughboy!
You could go to jail for this! What sort of system am I going to play then? Three across the middle and one in bloody Pentonville? *Mike Basset*
