Dutch and Spanish fans

Post by ruud »

Is anyone going anywhere special to watch the final?

I am most likely going to the Rosemont to watch the game, hoping the atmosphere will be great.

Does anyone else recommend anywhere else to go?

Unfortunately the Spanish Club in Sydney has closed down.

Are there any other Spaniards out there looking for somewhere to watch the final?

I hope the Dutch win because Ruud won't carry on like Madrista612 will if Spain wins.

Me too. There'll just be one post saying "YESSSSSSSSSS! I AM SO HAPPY" (with a Dutch accent) and that'll be it. If the Spanics win we'll have to scroll forever past his signature photo of that cycling magazine which is too big.

I hope the Spanish stuff 'em. They have a good chance, as long as the ladyboy stays on the bench. What a terrible showing at this WC from most of the EPL's so-called stars.

For what it's worth although I believe Spain are the better team I'll be supporting the Dutch. Just on world cup history alone, they've had enough pain in the past to warrant the win, plus seeing Sneijder take it out, and win player of the year can only be a good thing for Inter and their sponsors.

Has there ever been a Spanish team with so many players from Catalonia? If they win, will they get their own State :P
I don't like lies. I have understood your market where sometimes lies sell more than truth. This is your life and I don't like it. I understand your work and I have to work with you, but the protection of my group is much more important than you

as a neutral i think we will be disappointed.. me believes will be a very cautious affair from both sides with a lot of midfield play with neither side willing to take chances = boring = extra time = penalties

unless of course someone gets an early goal.. then game on

I was thinking about that, and to some extent I kind of agree, just hoping it doesn't have to be at the expense of Spain. And Spain has had their fair share of heartbreak anyway; 1934 (grandpa used to tell me about this one/read about it),1984, 1994, 2002
