Think about it 4 goals against Australia, England and Argentina. The only game they lost was against Serbia whose defence includes players like Vidic, Kolarov and Ivanovic, they knew they werent going to beat Germany by taking it to them all out attack. That was Englands problem, always going up looking for that 2nd goal, Australia and Argentina were torn apart by the speed and direct attack of youngsters Ozil and Mueller. If Spain plan on winning, players like Pique, Capdevilla Ramos etc need to leave the attacking pressure behind for this game. If Germany are given space to run into they will find exploit it. Spain need to play this game with the mentality that they are second best to Germany and focus mainly on defending. However my guess is that Spain will stick to how they've been playing and lose.
Germany v Netherlands Final
Or ya can look at it that Germany tore apart 3 teams that gave them all the time an spance they wanted in the midfield and allowed Schweinstieger, Khediria and Ozil to dictate play, and create space to play Klose, Podolski an Mueller into.
Spain's midfield is still the best in teh world despite not firing on all cylinders, Busquets, Alonso, Fabregas, Iniesta, Xavi will keep the ball, strangle the space in midfield and not let the Germans dwell on the ball and have time to set up attacking thrusts.
Mueller being out is a huge blow to the Germans as well, he has been one of their 3 best and consistent players all tournament.
If the Spanish forwards take their chances i think they might win as this Spanish team will be something the Germans haven't encounted this cup, their Aura is inflated somewhat by those smashing's and people forget about the Ghana and Serbia games to quickly.
