IF WE GET 2022 IN AUSTRALIA

Post by soccernuts »

the only negative for me if we get 2022, is that we will miss out on a qualifying campaijn, ie 16 competive matches.

Friendlies here and there might not be enough preperation.

Unless Asia adopts the African method and the qualifiers double up as Asian Nations cup qualifiers.

on the contrary, I think friendlies against well chosen opponents could be much better preparation than slugging it out with bus parking Qatar in the tropical heat

And the fact that most Australians wont have access to getting a ticket to a match.

The only positive from my point of view is that the matches will be shown on TV at a decent hour.
