Will the kits have the Downs badges/sponsors on them, perhaps you could "rent" these kits out to another team wishing to do the event. Clubs could save the money of buying them thus having more funds available to donate.
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:
Colossus: One House
Costa: One Lunch
Oh and add in
Colossus: one photo and one letter from his "attorney".

Re: Downs in the Pink: Update
Kits have Downs logos and Sponsors. Kits are being purchased by the players and many will donate them for auction to raise more funds.
To date we have close to $4000 in sponsorship and would hope to get up around the $10,000 mark. SAASL have donated $500 and Florina have also donated $500. Still waiting for other clubs to come on board. All donation over $2 are tax deductible .

Things are moving along nicely at this stage and our face book event page is well over 100 now for people attending this great cause.
We have media coverage via The Messenger and radio and are working on a few other avenues.
Its going to be a great day out there with plenty of great football and all for a great cause.

Re: Downs in the Pink
Downs v Vale attract between 750 to 1000 most Derby games with promotion and added interest from the local community, 2000 is not out of reach. Think small or think big. I would rather think big.
Re: Downs in the Pink
Ingle Farm have donated $500 and Parafield Gardens have donated $500. Salisbury Florina have donated $500. Cmon the rest of you, we are waiting. Cheque's can be made out to NBCF and sent to the Downs at P.O box 1 Smithfield 5113.

Due credit goes to you and the other clubs that have donated for this big day too.
Re: Downs in the Pink
Awesome news from the other clubs not involved donating every dollar counts and its good to see such decent amounts are being contributed

Re: Downs in the Pink
This is the one the downs supporters have been waiting for since the last time we played them. A golden oppurtunity to wack a relegation nail in the bungers coffin. A great cause with marooned and azza doing a cracking job to get this off the ground and a good band playing after, rdo,s all round. Anyway lets cranck this up and get all the vale supporter out on day release so we can push the 2000 mark. Let them know there is an all you can eat bung fritz smorgy on after the game and best of all lets all get there and help donate to the vales cause of going down quicker than maltese eddy in a bar full of sailors. going down, going down, going down has a good ring to it I may sing it all day. Fire up you bungers always entertaining when you are at argy park as I said cant wait.
