West Adelaide 2-1 Birkalla
 first loss of the season for Birkalla, well done to West Adelaide! Must have been quite a game :)
Back from suspension then.....?
No still under suspension. West official asked him to keep quite & move away from coaches technical area which he did but was later seen calling players over during game & giving instructions. After games had players & parents in a huddle while he screamed for about half an hour. Funny stuff really.

he should not be allowed near ground may as well not bother with suspension

Did it at Modbury game as well and they won that game 5-1. I thought you could have no contact with team 1hr before and 1hr after game. What is the point of the suspension he's just having a larf  and FFSA are weak as piss

he did the same thing after the Camptwn game - the reds leading 1 nil til about 18 secs left and Birkalla drew. coaching from the sidelines trying to masquerade as a parent until the ref told him to take a hike.he had the team in a huddle post game for a good 1/2 hour - something about shadows and wax on wax off. :?

Wouldn't you think as part of his squads development that he would in fact like to see his team play WITHOUT his influence or coaching?

you would think this coach would be smart take the 5 match ban and shut his mouth at games if he wants to shout do it at training were dads and mums can listen in and just see what they are putting there kids through maybe if he keeps it up no kids will want to play for him anymore and shouldnt the club take some responsibilty for the dutry of care for these kids

it's a hard one. he's got the team sitting on top. they must be playing or doing something right? yet I wonder if he's got the boys playing out of respect for him or out of fear? it's a conundrum.

i think the later as good as coach he might be there would be know way i would let any child of mine play under him plus my kid would probably tell me to go to hell when does club step in and say something to this coach this is under 15s not seniors if he wants to carry on and shout go coach seniors but he probably wouldnt say a word just in case a senior player hit him

winning a game 5-1 clearly shows some dominance over your opponent, what would they have to do to avoid a spray after the game?

maybe during his 5 week ban he goes and coaches at modbury or croydon so they dont get beaten 5-1 (or 6-2 if you bothered to get the right result) every time they play.

but then what would you lot whinge about every week.

winning is that important to you mate, is it? :clown: You will forgive anything just for that win, don't know what's worse, the coach or the parents, enjoy your title.

I know which team I want my son to play in and more importantly my son knows what team he would rather play in.

Yep rabbit, might not agree all the time , but have appreciated the respect you have shown the teams and my son in the times he has played your teams. Something which is sadly absent in a few teams at the moment. :(

Couldn't help himself at the Para game today either. Couldn't wait to slag Para off as 2 Para Hills people carried one of his injured players off on a sretcher. Next time we'll leave him on the ground you moron. Also and I assume he is still suspended, was coaching from within the ground on his mobile phone to his obviously inadequate assistant. I also assume the Federation allow this do they? :clown: :clown:

what is the point of the federation handing him a so-called "suspension" when it is not enforced and he is allowed to carry on the way he does?? who is actually monitoring his suspension? is anyone? surely he has exceeded his limitations by coaching from the sidelines. sending an official to each game to monitor for these sorts of actions and ensure that NO contact is to be made on his part whatsoever

I'm sorry but if this is true it smacks of self importance and a lack of faith in his assistants ability and the kids ability. Maybe he could wear a disguise next time and just stay in the coaches box, or have transmitters in their ears so he can control them that way.
