Not much I can say about the first half performance today, clearly we were the better side and we were robbed with a dubious penalty decision
A dismal effort in the first half and all credit to Farm who punished us and could have had alot more really before half time. We could only try to gain some respect in the second half and we had to work really hard to do this.
We have to wear our heart on our sleeve and fight this out to the very end, giving in, is not an option!

Great Game today at Mofflin rd. End to end all day with both sides having there oppertunities to score. The deadlock was broken in the 75min with a well constucted & clinical finish by Jarrod Foster straight off the plane from JBurg. The Vale pushed hard to level the scores with the Referee calling for the lights to be turned on at 5.55? It was a battle all day & befitting a game played for the Meurus Nicholes Trophy with the Gardens taking the silverware home...1-0

It was 5-0 at half time yesterday, it could honestly have been 7-8 Nil !!! Superb half of football by our boys, pleasure to watch. Simo made some changes second half, no goals but still Farm had 2 good chances and Vikings had a chance from an angle to get a consolation. 5-0 it finished.

RESERVES
Didn't see it, but it was 1-0, then the two strikers came off and the lads knocked in 3 more late on. Well done to young Nick with a brace. Baby Giraffe scores on his return to the club. 4-0 the Ressies won.

C TEAM
Josh McQueen had a chance to level the score with a penalty midway into second half, nearly smashed the window of my house a suburb over. Miss meant a 1-0 loss to our C Team. Well in Josh

Drew 3-3 at Vista. Big thanks to the guys at Vista for hosting the game as we were double booked at Walkley Park. Heard no goss on this one though

WOMENS
Our new girls team lead early doors against undefeated Seymour. Home team eventually came back to win 4-1 with Lydia making some good saves apparently during the second half

The Farm played unbelievably well in that first half vs Vikings, everything they were touching was turning to gold. Best half of football they've played all season without a doubt. A couple of the goals had sublime build up with quality finishes at the end of them too, some really good stuff. Hopefully the same can be produced next week to try and take top spot, should be a great game!
