To make things worse the defender in question went down the other end to score.

It was a save any keeper would have been proud of. Even then Sturt Marion supporters standing at the club rooms saw it and were shocked it wasn't a red and a penalty. The same player (#15) hand balled it three times during the game in total, twice in the box, and then of course scored the winner......... He should go buy a lottery ticket he was that lucky.

sat div 5 BOSA 1 vs COVE 1 top of table clash very tight encounter balance of play switched both ways BOSA scored first a good goal ,but COVE fought back and got equaliser from then on was end to end an enjoyable but nerve racking game to BOSA and Us good luck for rest of season once again thankyou for an entertaining game

Was a bit of a joke. Ref "didn't see it", apparently. Um, ok. He didn't bother asking the linesman either. :?

Generally referees only want club linesmen to make offside and balls in/out calls.
