The difference is the 2 serv handballs wern't preventing a certain goal...quite the opposite actually, as there was no need for either of the handballs. The ref got the Kewell decision right, that is the rules deliberate or not - harsh yes, but every ref at the WC would have made the same decision. The decision he got wrong was not sending a Ghanian player off in the first half for a scathing tackle from behind.

No point blaming the ref - blame Wilkshire and Emerton for allowing the cross in the first place that led to the penalty and red card, and for Chipperfield and Wilkshire not being good enough to pick their spot when the chances were there...
