bit early to be reminiscing about something that isn't even halfway through yet
to be fair, it wasn't everythingredsfan wrote:that cabernet display in game one were we did everything wrong.
it wasn't and we had chances in the 2nd game to make it irrellivant but in the end we got done over by goal differance, goal differance we accumilated in that first game. In the end it cost us a round of 16 spot.Loppermann wrote:to be fair, it wasn't everythingredsfan wrote:that cabernet display in game one were we did everything wrong.
at least we didn't have 2 more sent off or conceed 10
No, you weren't. Minutes after scoring, he attempted a simple ball out to the wing. Had a 10 metre gap to put it through... and missed. He's effective in the forward impetus he gives the team, and his work rate... but not much more.mavromooni wrote:Being proved very wrong about Brett Holeman
Red cards costs us dearly too. I think we would've beaten Ghana with 11 - and qualified with 6 points. Shit happens.ADEL.GOONERS wrote:first game tactics by pim, it cost us dearly

What actually cost us was our inability to put a second goal away against Ghana. Germany was always a write-off and I don't blame Pim for trying something different. Wasn't his fault that the defenders couldn't keep a simple defensive shape to allow the offside trap to work. They did seem to learn against Serbia, however, and the shape looked a lot better.ADEL.GOONERS wrote:first game tactics by pim, it cost us dearly
He was already going with Fox Sports anyway.bigdawg wrote:Kevin Muscat commentatingonly way he was gonna get to the World Cup

You've lost any credibility you may have held.Number7 wrote:Craig Foster has been ok.
Shame they won't then. You'll finish with no memories of the tournament.Bodø Glimt wrote:Denmark if they do the business over Japan tonight.
We shall see. If Japan lose they'll have a worse record than AustraliaSteelinho wrote:Shame they won't then. You'll finish with no memories of the tournament.Bodø Glimt wrote:Denmark if they do the business over Japan tonight.
