If Lucas Neill met his captain's responsibilities he should have verbally dragged the central ref over to get the 4th official's version of what he saw when Bresciano got kicked up the muscat by Ghana's Addy. I have seen refs change their decision after consulting assistants....

Consists of 8 members (Wales, N.Ireland, England &Scotland, and 4 FIFA delegates representing the other 204 nations). 6 out of 8 votes (ie 3/4 majority) are needed to change a law....

How would you see it when they can talk to each other from the other side of the pitch?

More countries took part in the afl world cup than the first 3 world cups, yet they're not called a "kick around in the park".

I think a video review for simulation, with the threat of suspension would change a lot about the way players carry on at this tournament
