Lefty,
No problems because its a fact and thanks for your response with kind words.
I have loved the amateur league as a player and coach and may the spirit of the North East live on with quality lads and clubs such as
VISTA
GULLY
MOD JETS AMATEURS
All are in our local area of the Tea Tree Gully District with good depth and solid history - were very lucky to have great teams and above all good spirit and great lads, both young and old from all three clubs. I might add your local derbies are great played in the right spirit of the battle of 90min and shake hands and have a few beers together after with some fun laughs and bull crap with egos bigger than the game lol
(INGLE FARM and PARA HILLS EAST must be recognized too in the local derby days).
Many of an young lad has come from your clubs too the MJFC - Jet Park and Burragah
We will never thank them enough for their contributions as players coaches managers or supporters of Modbury Jets FC and foolish if we don't respect and recognize small and large contributions.
We are very lucky all three clubs contribute with quality young boys and men that make decision to test themselves at a higher level as the local pathway, some make it some don't unfortunately and sometime we get it wrong too as a club but that's football. More importantly my point on this thread is they return to their home where it all started for them. It is important that MJFC recognize this and thanks all.
I say long live all three clubs being in the first division of the SAASL, this would be a great spectacle and achievement 6 derbies locally per year and 10 including the East and the Farm "What an Dream" (A long bow I know but what an achievement even if they were 3).
If achieved great crowds may come and revenue for all so again test the waters on Friday.
Our goal is being the FFSA Super League benchmark both on and off the pitch. We have a long way to go but building strong foundations under my helm.
"All big asks in the Tea Tree Gully District if we all manage our clubs well its achievable"
Its sometime forgotten but it shouldn't be, in essences we are a great football community and if we can support the clubs in any constructive way we are happy to help
thanks

Your a great club, good coach and some fantastic players both past current a future and we have always had close relations with them and always will I hope.
You are up the road and deserve be recognized for what you are trying to do and that is to be inovative and deserve the respect of that.
Good luck on Friday night and if we were not playing at home I'd be up their seeing Brad, JJ, Russell and many other quality lads clean up. GO VISTA go you blue and whites
Some or our crop have come from their and some unsuccessful with MJFC or others that just want a local change of scenery at Vista playing amateurs.
Its a great League for them and wish them well in 2010

Neil.... great to see you guys showing respect to your neighbouring clubs who arent in the same association as your club but are still part of the soccer family and contribute to your club in some way & you recognise it well done. I wish we saw more of it this attitude will only benefit the clubs and both junior & senior players.
Good luck to both teams Friday night.
