1. We acknowledged the fact that these are not "Authentic" jerseys that you would get for around $130 - $140 (AUD)
at Rebel Sports or K-Mart. Therefore, we don't charge "Authentic" jerseys prices to all our customers eventhough our
quality of our jerseys are of very high quality.
no matter how high the quality is, even if the quality is better than the originals, that still doesnt change the fact that the items you are selling is not authentic, in other words fakes.
2. Comparing to other websites that are selling for $18 (AUD) per jersey, we are not comparing ourselves to them
as the materials that they used are not good quality and the finishing of the jersey are not great. We pride
ourselves in providing the best quality that we can provide and good finishing. Our testimonals on our website
acknowledged on how on good our quality and finishing are. And we have repeating customers wanting more on our products.
quality is a very subjective matter. a person who has never pay particular attention to the authentic stuffs will think your item is of best quality. Again, still doesn't change what members are trying to say here, the items you are selling is not licensed. Besides, i believe a proportion of the customer's feedback is left after thinking they are getting an authentic item, thus good feedback. Do you think they will say the same thing after reading the discussions here, and check it out for themselves by comparing with the real ones? did you make it very clear to each and every customer that your items are not genuine and that they are voluntarily buying the items with full knowledge that it is not authentic?
3. In terms of variation in washing lables, logo/price tags and inner imprints, we acknowledge the fact that there are differences.
But the differences are not visible externally (e.g. Who would still keep and wear price tag on themselves, who would look internally into someone jerseys
to see whether they are replica or not or how good their finishing are internally). We know that customers won't want to wear jerseys that don't look authentic,
therefore, we make sure all our jerseys are of excellent quality comparing to the authetics one and they are COMFORTABLE to wear.
Yes, nobody will go and flip a shirt inside out and check for authentication. a general shirt buyer might not notice it. But me being a Man Utd shirts collector, can detect which is real and fake by small signs visible on the shirt, like patterns, badge, embroidery quality. Yes, quality. No matter how much you pride your item's quality, i am still of the opinion that it will not be as good as the real thing. i've seen tonnes of fake shirts, and no matter how good they are, they will not be anywhere near the real thing. i doubt yours is any different. you can post up pictures of your items here, and i can compare it to the authentic ones to see how good the quality is.
4. In regards to the blog listed, we acknowledge that, the SELLER is in the wrong. The reason is that he lied to the customer of not letting him know in regards
to the authenticity of the soccer jersey that he is selling. You get these cases alot on EBAY, but we let our customers know if they asked the question, why your prices
are so cheap and whether it is authentic and what the differences comparing our jersey to the authentic jersey. In the end, the customers make the decision on whether to purchase or not.
The purpose of the blog is to highlight the differences between authentic and fake, not to compare you to the scamming seller. Besides, you said you will only tell customers about your item if they asked. That means if they do not ask, and assume your item is authentic because your listing includes worlds like "Official", "Nike", "Adidas" and their respective logos, you will let them buy your items just like that? And if they ask, i guess you will answer them like you did in this thread, which is very vague and cloudy, promoting the "quality" and "price" instead?
5. In terms of stocking, we stock M and XL only as they are commonly purchased. We know authentics have other sizes as well, but by doing so, our over-heads would increase therefore
we wouldn't be able to provide such competitive prices on our website.
I do not think this is entirely true. I believe the reason why you are only stocking M and XL is because the factories that produce these shirts do not have enough resources to make different sizes, thus only producing M and XL, simple as that. All the fake sellers i met on other websites and eBay also only sells M and XL (this only change recently), surely that cant be due to the same reason as you? then who will be stocking the S and L sizes from the factories?

I may sound like i am a competitor, trying to eliminate competitions, especially with a post count of 2. But the fact is, i am a football shirt collector who just happened to register in this forum as i am playing in one of the SAASL divisions, and i am just doing my part in making sure people know what they are getting. I am not specialized in other knockoffs like LV handbags, or Gucci wallets, but i do know my stuff in football shirts so i am just raising the awareness. If there is a member who comes in and say "i do not care if the item is fake, as long as it is cheap", then by all means, they can buy from you. But there are a few major issues in regards to dealing with fake shirts:

1. Legal issues and copyright infringements. Need i say more?
2. Unethical business methods. Hiding the fact from buyers and answering them in a vague and misleading manners, also marketing ploys that make consumers think the items are real from the usage of words like "Official" and the inclusion of the brands.
3. Directly or indirectly supporting the black industry. Documentaries after documentaries have been shown in this issue, some of the counterfeit rings used underaged children to make their products in a very ill-treated way (chained to their workstation, starved etc). You may not be involve in this, as you are only stocking from your suppliers. but behind the scenes, they are trying to cut down costs by any means necessary.

Of course, i do not expect you to stop what you are doing after reading this. I am merely providing insights on this issue to the forum members here. At the end of the day, it is their decision whether to buy or not. I am just a bit surprised this forum is not stricter on the issue of selling knock-offs/counterfeits/imitations/fakes here.

If you are happy with that and your customers are too fair enough, but I doubt the manufacturers are happy :?

And as I said before you are no competition to me, so I am not trying to cause trouble, just pointing something out.
Thanks for pointing that out for us. We would take your advise and start to filter out to identified what is miss-leading for the customers. We know that you are in no competition to us and we understand and thank you again for pointing this out to us. As you know sometimes, it's quite hard to word properly on website and that may sound miss-leading to customers. Thank you again.

Hi pyroboy1911

Thank you for your understanding and concern coming from a soccer jersey collector. As e-football have mention, our website wording may miss lead customers. Hence, we are revising how we promote this to our all customers and making sure they are aware of what they are purchasing.

As per to customers asking, we tell them that is a high quality knock-offs and we are not vague about it. It's not mention properly in these recent threads, but its mention to all corresponding emails to our customers. But in the end its up to the customers decision on whatever they would purchase or not.

You are very correct on the quality that is un-matchable to the original but it comes with the price as well. Buying a high-graded knock offs at $50 comparing to original that you would get from Rebel Sports at $140, solely again depends again on the customers. The way of choice is literally educating them to make the right decision.

In regards to the sizes, i am sorry but its quite untrue. We did try to cater for size S and XXL but seems most people prefer M to XL. Therefore, its a business decision to stock M and XL rather than not having enough resources to make or stock them all.

Thank you again for you concern and will look into revising our website.

Hi Jane,

They are knock-offs of very high quality.

Thanks.
A friend of mine bought a few jerseys from your store, they are waiting for it's arrival. When you say "high quality", what exactly do you mean?

So I see your friend bought the jerseys, no wonder because I went through my system and couldn't find your name. By the way, what was your friend's name? Reason being is so that I can check it out for you. Why hasn't your friend emailed me or whatnot?
