I was always a big fan of Del Piero, But he never really turned it on for Italy. But he was great for Juve
Baggio on the other hand was exceptional for both club and country

So for performance wise

Roberto Baggio - Il Codino Divino!!!!

Baggio and del piero are not in the same class...Baggio was of the superstars of the 90's and one of the best of the modern last 2 decades!

He scored so many beautiful goals....but one of my favourites would be the one he scored while playing for Brescia against Juve when he controlled the ball and took it past van der sar in one movement!

That goal for Brescia was quality... but I remember as a little kid him scoring a wonder goal for Juve against Milan... controlled the ball on the half volley and raced from the halfway line to beat three defenders, dribble the keeper and nut meg the defender on the line (who i think was maldini)... twas a goal i will never forget

The vicentin is the better of the 2 veneti imo. Produced more at international level. That's were the cream rises to the top. Del Piero promised much but rarely delivered.

Nice pics by the way Baggio!
