Reports were provided by Craig Laird who forwarded them on to me to put on the forum.

I believe he was writing them on behalf of the SAASL and that the reports would be on their 'new' website, i haven't received a match report from him for a few weeks so not sure whats happening.

I measured my trip from the Farm to my house last night (20·6km) although it doesn't seem that far when I am doing it. Teams like Greenock, Pirie, Breakers and Strathalbym travel longer distances on a regular basis. Travelling on one cup round is not really a big deal.

During the last 12 years I had a the Downs I trained twice a week and played for the club despite living at Enfield, West Hindmarsh, Mile End, Evanston, Bridgewater, Colonel Light Gardens, Marion, Darlington, Seacombe Heights and Happy Valley.....however Saturday games (in the cup) were rare back then.
Some of the "distance" excuses I hear hold about as much water as the Murray River !

Thing that annoys me is that a lot of Sunday players work on Saturday So drawing games on a Saturday is a disadvantage to Sunday teams because their players are not available.

All cup games no matter should be Sunday only IMO..

I never threatened anyone, merely pointing out crying if your leg got snapped,as opposed to crying over travelling distance.....as for travelling distance im not bothered, its the fact that im a family man and dedicate my sat to the kids thats why i play sunday football.....fair enough? stop your attacks because it doesnt show maturity,im a tough guy by no means, but everyones entitled to an opinion......

Honestly, what are the odds of drawing the same side in both the A's and the B's :?: As close to all the A players missed the first team game a couple of weeks ago (due to Mothers Day- yeah, yeah,we are soft, whateva), most are now committed to the B squad... so the game should HOPEFULLY be slightly closer.

are you sure you guys will turn up? it is the june long weekend after all :D and im sure the lads are keen to show there stuff against a first team side. might be a good chance to show the cougars how to lose with a bit of pride and not resort to becoming hacks while copping a hammering.
