I shudder to think what the next 8 will be like. Is great that a music expert who has probably never been to a football game, aswell as a former tv star, get the chance to vote on behalf of the fans every week.

SBS has played the Talking Heads number "We're on the road to nowhere" at the end of past failed qualification campaigns.

Is it appropriate after last night's MCG disgrace?

I heard it on sunrise yesterday I thought it was ok. They used real peoples heart beats for the song but would have struggled to get one out of the team last night though

And Englands should be 'oh yes were the great pretenders"

Another World Cup and once again the English media hyping up England's chances can't wait until they fail again

FFS.

My worst dreams have come true.

Pop music and football. F*ck I hate pop music, and that shite band of no talent arse clowns they've employed to sing the song.

As Geroge Costanza said "Worlds are colliding. They're killing independent George!!".

Did I mention FFS?!

Sung to the tune of Joe Jackson's "Is She Really Going Out With Him" if Australia are eliminated in the group stage.

So you think they will win it...

I don't think England have a hope as I posted in a thread in World football last week.
