Wanderers v Vipers
A's 6-4
B,s 2-0

A's imteresting game, Wanderers 5-1 up at half time, playing with a lot of confidence. Wanderers took their foot off the pedal in 2nd half which resulted in a good come back from Vipers, but too much to do and a deservered win for Wanderers

Vipers Scorers (A): Kali (2), Kresovic, Matsouliadis

Game of two halves. Wouldn't say Wanderers took their foot off the pedal - change in tactics from Vipers made it harder for them to handle our attacking players. Vipers were a team of two halves today, someone from our c's who showed up at half time was unable to understand how Wanderers scored 5 in the 1st half.

Apologies to the Wanderers player with the broken nose, #6 was genuinely going for the bicycle kick.

Div 5
Hahndorf v Vipers 3-2 (I think) A few P1ssed off Vipers showed up at wanderers, drowned their sorrows at a
well known pub at Hahndorf

Div 6
Mt Barker v Vipers 1-2 First win for the young Vipers, a great effort where it was hard to pick a 321 at the end.
First win for the season and with many more to come if the same effort continues.
Best Ref we have had in amatuers for a while, let the play flow and only penalised when needed....Well done

It's amazing what can happen when The kangaroo is on the pitch as well as the rock at the back

Vipers A's, just wasn't their day and Wanderers were the better side.

Don't let the A team result fool you... there wasn't very much between the two sides for the entire game which looked like it was going to finish as an entertaining 0-0 draw. Allstars bundled in from a corner on 75 minutes which some how manage to squirm under Paleon Patros Germanos in the Navarino goal. Three minutes later Ziggy thundered in a contender for goal of the season to double the Star's league. Being the good sport that he is PPG refused to shake the linesman's hand after the game.

The B's game was probably the most dire game I have seen in a long time. Navarino well worth the points but as a whole the game was slow and unentertaining.

Not the first time a Vipers player hurt the opposition from an attempted bicycle kick. Did the ref red card him?

would have been a harsh red card but justified.

Boo Hoo....I don't see how a player should get a red for a legitimate play....

The day you deserve a Red for an accidental contact is the day I give it away.

the laws of the game would allow a red for this already. As I said, Harsh but justified.

Tell me the last time a red was awarded when a bicycle kick resulted in a goal?

It would be a bullsh1t penalty if awarded in any circumstance.

Overhead kicks are dangerous play anyway you look at it.
