MODBURY DESERVED TO WIN THAT GAME IN THE U14A'S
VERY LUCKY CAMBELLTOWN

cant win if you dont score.

Hey rider, I don't know you. However I do know the linesman. One of the nicest and most honest blokes I know. cheating and making a decision based on what one saw at the time should not be confused. if we're to even remotely, even for a micro-second take on board what you've just accused the linesman of then all offical ref's, linesmen (parents included who risk being berated for doing the right thing by running the line to help their kids out) are all cheats by your inference. They make decisions based on what they saw.
now thing is I don't know if this linesman got it right or wrong. He made a decision based on what he saw - simple.
and guess what - it'll happen time and time again. it's called sport.
and just to clarify in case you think there's some bias here - I don't have a kid playing for the team who beat your team 1 - 0.

Lets just remember one thing here people, the linesman doesn't make the decision on whether the player is offside or not, the ref does. The linesman just indicates and in many cases the ref overrules the linesman and waves him down. Just as he did the match before, so if it was a blatant error the ref should have called it and if it was close then so be it-shit happens. But Allrise lets be real here, you do get linesman that cheat plain and simple, your mate I'm sure isn't but you do get them and you know it.

There's not many that blatantly cheat, but plenty that don't know the rules and think they're doing semaphore as soon as the ref gives them the flag.

To be fair, they're volunteers, so wouldn't be too critical.

Those that do cheat however, are just sad and pathetic.

Hey rider, if you are a modbury player or supporter take my advice and shut the fuck up.
Having been to many many games to watch my lad play against modbury over the years
i can tell you that i wouldnt bring up anything about cheating officials. You guys have been the
masters of it for years. From my visits to that crappy modbury ground from the Under 12's to the
U17's no official referee has bothered to turn up (handy that) to come to officiate the games,
and the blatant cheats that modbury have provided is a joke. So please shut the fuck up

Couldnt agree more with you redeye!

Have been on the end of some bad decision's over the years with Modbury Home Ref's!

Blatently going over time to get a result for the home team especially when they are in their attacking half! :x :x

was out at Modbury juniors pitch recently and looking very good this year. No reason for having club appointed refs this season as there are so many young FFSA qualified refs coming through but guess you wouldn't be happy about some of there decisions either. :clown: People in glass houses......

About time they got some proper officials to officiate then!

Sound's like you are a bit of a smart arse mate as well. Only stating the obvious club refs are no good when points are on the line! :clown:

maybe a little smarter than you at least if I have to point out the bleeding obvious mate, there are points on the line in every match that is played.

Would be good to have independent linesman for all matches but thats never going to happen unless more qualified refs are in the system and the clubs are prepared to pay for 2 linesman and a ref for every home game which would be anywhere from $80 to $100 a match.

So until then guess we have to make do with volunteers and they do there best. And its still the official FFSA ref that makes the final decision.

sabaisabai, you have such a way with words haven't you.
It didn't happen, not the way so eloquently described that is.
But I'm sure you never let the facts get in the way of a good story.

why dont ya just post the results and leave ya derogatory comments re clubs and officials to yourselves... I have never been involved in a game where everyone is happy. All one can do is be fair and honest and if people choose to favour 1 club then there isn't a lot ya can do about it... intersting re modbury and officials, we must ring the feds and tell em there are no games on hey ? Perhaps complaints should be directed at the ffsa and referees board re their officials not showing up. And you should know better redeye. Your comments are little more than pathetic.

That's how smart you are sabai I'm not talking about the u14s Campbelltown game (I wasn't there so I don't comment) I was referring to the Mod vs Comets game. Which I was at was at and saw exactly what happened. I was just responding to your insane ranting on the subject. I've allowed this to go on far too long and I'm sick of responding to you, but do yourself a favour and don't be so abusive on the forums its not very smart. Good luck for the rest of the season.
