Post by Dad's Army »

Division Ten
Elizabeth Vale 2 Ingle Farm 0

Division One
A's Salisbury Florina 4 West Beach 3 (three times Beach led before being pipped at the end)
B's Salisbury Florina 0 West Beach 1 (Florina really should have finished this with nine men)

Halfway through the first half the Florina linesman took exception to being overruled by his own club referee, through the flag down and walked away.
where have I seen that before?

Well deserved score of Fulham losing, yet again, 1-0 to Gardens. Fulham pretty much under the pump for most of the game with Fulham keeper saving a few then coming off with cramp (first time I've ever seen that). Goal was scored once the keeper was replaced. Also ref was a complete shocker.

I know Pirie weren't on the road because I know the referee who had to make a trip up to Pirie today.

Seemed solid enough but was put under a fair bit of pressure. Was surprised to see bergul on the bench as he is their top goal scorer.

Well done to Inter today ! We just basically werent good enough !
To the Inter reserves coach, you really need to pull your head in mate !
To come out with some of the comments you made today, someone from your club should have a good chat with you !
Probably the best one you come up with was.... (when you were 4 - 2 up)..... Your ref is a F&%$#@G cheat, you want to see cheating, wait till you come to our ground we will show what cheating is all about !!!  WTF mate, you are a real champion !! I think your real issue might be a bit of small mans syndrome...... GROW UP !!! :clown: :clown: :clown:

Southern Knights ( 0 ) Modbury Vista ( 2 )
Southern Knights just couldn't get the ball across the Vista goal line today, several cross bars and uprights hit.
Vista's first goal came mid way through the first half from a sweetly hit cross that drifted and dipped hitting the upright/crossbar junction and ending up in the net.
Vista's second came midway through the second half as a result of a soft handball leading to a converted penalty.
Special mention to PC for his screaming in agony fall to ground in the second half.

Reserves - Southern Knights ( 1 )Modbury Vista ( 5 )
Once again Knights with several last minute injury pull-outs, had trouble putting their chances away...as opposed to Vista who produced several excellent goals in the first half...(1) driven through a packed goalmouth...(2) a nice curling 25 metre drive...(3) a nice far post head in...(4) a well taken free kick that scraped the inside of the post.
The second half was fairly balanced but a 50/50 tackle ended up on the penalty spot and Vista converted.
PS - The Reserve keeper is a bit sore at the moment :(

A's
Fulham 0 - Gardens 1
Goalscorers - 1 Ebomo
Gardens pretty well dominated most of the play although Fulham were competitive and had their chances but great headed goal in the end from a corner in front of the Gardens crowd. And once again an pathetic job by the ref came to the game looking for trouble & created his own.

B's
Fulham 1 - Gardens 3
Goalscorers - 2 Pond, 1 Kippax

C's
Fulham 5- Gardens 0

O35's
Brahma 1 - Gardens 3
Goalscorers - 2 Butters, 1 Wanganeen
