First 20 minutes, pretty much as expected, City came out and ran us around. But, to be honest, they didn't really create all that much despite plenty of the ball. From about the half hour mark to the end, we bossed it pretty well considering you were the home team and most of the referee's decisions went your way.blue moon wrote:not arguing at all against the outcome, h/w spurs were on the back foot for large parts of the game, mainly in the first half.Nice One Cyril wrote:No sour grapes there then. You should of had some sheep herder in goal but the PL bent the rules for you. Quit bitching.
Fair enough, Hudd was fortunate that he missed everything, but how de Jong (and several others) avoided going in the book is something of a mystery and Ledley's 'goal' is one of those you see given every week. Added to that, we hit the post and Fulop (who shouldn't even have been playing
I have no doubt that City will win the Premier League in the next 3 or 4 years and I will be glad to see it, especially since I don't really know any of their fans.
Well done Harry.

i think your owners have more to worry about.
Re: Man City vs Tottenham
bit like you re adelaide united then. we certainly knew we wouldnt be top 3, but would push for 4th which we did until the last 10 min of the 37th game.TOPGUN-JIMMY-AUFC wrote:the big 2 mouths this season FAILED........

Just hope the owners dont push the panic button and get rid of Mancini, once he gets the squad he wants, he will be very good for the club.
Knows how to get results and has a proven record, even before Inter he won a Coppa Italia with an average Fiorentina team.

Re: Man City vs Tottenham
might have the money but its still hard to attract the very best to england, they get slugged 50% super tax. half their wages goes to the govt, whereas it only low 20% in spain and other countries...... that plus the lovely weather in manc.ronaldo07 wrote:if u've given that amount of money to spend, it aint difficult to achieve what he've acheieved !!Scudetto8687 wrote:Just hope the owners dont push the panic button and get rid of Mancini, once he gets the squad he wants, he will be very good for the club.

Manchester City.....the gift that keeps on giving.

Manchester United, not arrogant, just better.
Re: Man City vs Tottenham
I thought it couldn't be any funnier. Then along comes a Bertie to put the icing on it.
Oh, and what part of Manc is Great Barr?

That's all Man City have done over the years is sack managers. Mancini won't be there for long & City will disappoint their fans for evermore.Scudetto8687 wrote:Just hope the owners dont push the panic button and get rid of Mancini, once he gets the squad he wants, he will be very good for the club.

I have designed a game of 'Guess Who' for the kids based on the 30 or so managers they have had in the past 30 years
Best finish since Peter Reid was in charge playing the long ball game. In 92??

Personally I think those sorts of comments makes for a nice change of pace from the crap that United 'supporters' on here post 24/7.

didn't bend the rules, they clearly state that if injury or other factors, players can be brought in in "emergencies"Nice One Cyril wrote:No sour grapes there then. they had a keeper though who had even played in the premier league, if they didn't think he was good enough they shouldn't have registered him.

if you're bringing in another keeper you might as well start him
abuse of the rule or not, they were legally allowed to do it

i don't think they should have been allowed to bring one but bottom line is the league allowed them to.

It's exactly why I hate Carlisle. Anyone on their books can wear the gloves without bringing someone else in.Hawkesy wrote:i don't think they should have been allowed to bring one but bottom line is the league allowed them to.
Does Kevin Rudd refer to his genitals as the stimulus package?
