from brahma lodge... won 9-1 against hahndorf first week, lost 2-1 to greenock today... we deserved a draw and i think a win, but we wasted chances and were out of sorts a bit. frustrating... well done to greenock though, you guys will definitelty get some wins up there this year.
your best player was our left back who kept kicking it to you guys!
good luck for the season, next up for us is adelaide red dragons, how do they look?

I think you mean Red Blue Eagles... I was at their games today but more focused on the division two matches taking place on the adjacent pitch so only saw snippets of their games. Not really enough to make an assesment.

brown paper bag crew, sandy deserved it, he was irritated for sure. what bout the big fella getting 3 votes,pffffft...
surely our sweeper did well under adversity... he looked like johan cryuff. shame his left back didnt want the ball. weiner.
Should have won that game against Strath, was 3 - 0 up at one point.
Gave away two (dubious) penalties though and it started a slide, played the last 25 minutes with ten men after a poor tackle on our keeper ruled him out for the rest of the game.
big mid-week fixture this week... wed night brahma v red blue eagles at grange.... 7pm kick off i believe? will sandy and garfield both be able to get along on the same team after sunday nights shenanigans?
johan cryuff may be moved out of sweeper if he is available...
Thanks BPBC, for clarifying that. I wasnt sure if it was cup fixture or league fixture,i should have realised by the heading/topic (sat div 4 )
Night games always have a different feel about them, hope it all goes well, and good luck to all.
Very even first half. Red Blue Eagles scored the only goal in which the referee missed a handball in the build up. They shaded early stages of the second half and took a 2-0 lead with a cracking goal. With twenty minutes to go made it 3-0. Brahma Lodge pulled one back with a goal similar to the one that Japan scored past Australia in the '06 world cup (except without the foul on the keeper). On this occasion the keeper miss judged the flight of a free kick coming in and it floated it. His screams of "keeper's ba... oh shít" was quite funny, but given the wind conditions at Grange could be excused for this one. With two minutes to go Brahma pulled a second one back from a corner and from the kick off took the ball and went in and banged in another. Referee play about three minutes of extra time but over all I think a draw was a fair result.
