The disgarce was the fact the Wanderers Keepers was boasting about it to his supporters, And Yeah I heard it cos he said it to me when i walked past him after the game, to take down the goal nets.oldlazio wrote:Did you play or watch the match, you must be talking about the Villa player surely, I was watching with the game, and have to say I am ashamed to be Italian based on some of the players actions and cowardness, never thought I would see what I did at local game of soccer.Chivas wrote:Villa V wanderers game was called off, 15mins into second half after a pitch invasion.
Sad to see this happen, as it was a great game to watch, both teams were playing well and didnt look like it would end that way.
It all started when the wanderers striker put a late tackle on an AV defender. When the defender went to get up, he was bundled over again. A few AV players went to stop a scuffle happening, to which a few more wanderers playing got involved. It happenned close to the sideline, just in front of some supporters kids, who in the process, the parents rushed over to get thei kids. This lead to the wanderers supporters running onto the pitch as well as th AV supporters.
It got out of hand as a few players from both teams started throwing punches.
The GK of the wanderers was a disgrace. He ran the length of the pitch, just so "he could kick someone in the head", he said as he boasted to his supporters. Luckily he didnt connect, but he SHOULD B ASHAMED of himself.
Dont worry, Ref heard it, and I will b surprised if its not mentioned in his report. Ur a disgrace mate, and hopefully KARMA catches up with u!
above all, REF did the right thing. He had duty of care, cos if he restared game, their would of been some violent repercussions. Sad, end to game, especially as AV have not been involved in an abonded game since its inception in 1974!
oh well, i BELIEVE GAME WILL B REPLAYED, as only 60mins had been played!
This keeper was talking it up so much, bein do smug and tough. But when he got changed, and left, he left very very quietly!!
neways, I did watch the game, and was appalled that it ended the way it did. However, to say ur ashamed to b italian, and the dribble u posted above, just shows u have no idea what happenned. Theres 2 sides to every story, what u want to believe and the truth. Btw, we have not only Italians in the team, we have greeks, polish, australian, germans, maltese, english and Calo's
I have seen some of the AV boys who were bein attacked, and lets just say, if i was being attacked, I wouldnt hesitate to fight back like they did! Seriously, T Scalzi is probably the nicest gentleman u would ever meet on and off the pitch, and for him to get attacked is disgraceful. I am sure if ur team mates were being "set on", u would protect them???
neways, the ref will make his report and the match will have to b replayed, sorry to the Wanderers supporters, who "would b happy with the point"!!
And BOTH teams will get away with it, but mind you, the culprits on BOTH sides will get whats deserved to them!
"end rant"
