Around the corner from the Beograd game tonight. Will probably come past. Will there be chevaps? And is Christakos playing or will I have to make do heckling Buco?
could be something for the future to consider As and Bs on Fri nights under lights at home... especially with beers and chevaps going...
Apologies to the coasters for the B's game being cut short by 5 mins. There are council regulations about start and finish times. Given the game started late the 2nd half had to be 40 mins.
In all honesty i know the 5 minutes isnt a big issue in the scheme of the overall result... but it was a good night overall

BOSNA CHAMPIONS DIV3 2009
no balkan team stood a chance
asteras 2 - 2 brahma
0-0 at half time with brahma having a lot of play but unable to finish some good chances. asteras were definitely up for it... asteras were 2-0 up after about 20 mins of second half... both goals deserved... but brahma kept plugging away and still maintained the majority of the play but still couldnt quite finish the job... brahma didr score after about 75 mins, then the asteras keeper sent off. send off was perhaps a bit harsh as he wasnt the last defender but was definitely a foul...so not sure why straight red. either way the stand-in keeper saved the day for them about 5 times, some cracking saves to keep brahma at bay but then a last minute goal went in to make it 2-2. very short pitch, dodgy cricket pitch in the middle.... opening few minutes was kick to kick between the keepers. asteras will be a tough team at home.

was 1-0 to asteras at half time. keper got sent off for handball outside area which was a joke even you own players agreed. not an excuse though. also the referee decided to play 7 mins of injury time for 1 injury which was dissapointing. i think both clubs can agree that the referee did neither team any favours. lost control of the game to often. either way draw prob fair result and look forward to return fixture.

Think the excesive injury time was also due to the handbags on the sideline when our player tried to take the throw in, plus the red card stoppage. Agree with the result being fair. Although we did miss loads of chances you lads battled hard especially with 10 men and deserved both your goals. Ref did lose a little bot of control there but still did a decent job i thought. Both your keepers had brilliant games
That postage stamp ground though is a shocker. You lads play well on it and should take points off most teams there

You do mean the first teams keepers dont ya.? Ressie keeper extremely hard done by
Another few minutes and Brahma probably would have knicked a winner, we were under a lot of pressure towards the end. Bit unlucky as they hit the bar and had a couple of chances cleared off the line.
Our stand in keeper was our keeper from last season, who has decided he wants to play on the field. But if he keeps playing like that I dont think we're gonna give him a choice!!....
To call the pitch a postage stamp is an understatement;
But there was not much we could do due to the gym being built (had to rotate East-West) I think it could have gone a tad longer, but part of the goalmouth/18yard box on one end would have be in a rock hard patch of dirt. Running in studs on that at full speed is like running on ice, someone would have seriously injured themselves. If it softens up maybe we go a few metres longer.
Chaos - yes, the A grade keeper and then the stand in keeper when he was sent off. Both were brilliant. In fairness to the ressies keeper that can never be fun but well in to him for still putting the efffort in right till the end
Kop - yep noticed the gym there and figured thats why it moved. Not much you lads could do about it. I reckon the sun would have been a bit of a nightmare for your keeper second half, not that it showed
