Good to see the maco boys doing themselves and their club proud! :(

westies came back from 5-4 down with their keeper scoring with minutes left. Downs soon equalised again. Good game.

Screaming eagles beat Talking heads 8?-0. Childs scoring 0 goals.
Crouch costing the Eagles the FIFA fair play award with an honest mistake.
yes he did cop of fair bit from a few juiced up supporters, but the old lines can be a bit confusing. might need a bit extra lime out there.

Couldn't agree more SWP. It does get confusing when there are 2 lines right near each other. Still the comp is going really well. You can definatley tell your playing at the downs when there are pissed people on the sides dishing it out. I have actually missed it this year. Looking forward to the very original and amusing pay outs this year.

Under the Influence were all good except for one and the rest of them let him know how they felt about it too.

In fact Under the Influence have gone down by the odd goal in every game and have been very unlucky not to have three wins rather than three loses.

They are all good lads and will win next week against Eastern Park.

Bolthangers must beat the Tasty Poons next week to stay in touch with the leaders.
One can only wonder what the coach has left in his bag of tricks.

Talking Heads got humped on wednesday and will seek revenge against this years whipping boys the Redbacks. Sorry Russell it just seemed like the right thing to say. :P They won the first game while you were overseas anything changed since then? Bet you wish you got me some Rangers socks now eh!

We dont hump people.
We just play i the right spirit - and things have gone well for us of late.
This week is a danger game agaisndt the downs.
BIG statement - we beat them - the league's ours.
But I think T. Elliot, Reevesy and Matty Blackwood are going to be up to the challenge/

Screaming Eagles play Kare Facta at 7.45. Facta getting better each week but will have their hand full against the Mighty Eagles line up.

Westies play the Grove the game after that and should be the match of the round.

Talking heads play redbacks at 6.45. After last week you may have to kick off ten mins earlier than the opposition.

The Gaffer has snuck one in the mix and hoped it wouldnt get picked up.... BUT IT HAS.

Rd 1 - 3-0 goal scorers - Mick 2, Brooksy 1
Rd 2 - 8-0 goalscorers - Crouch 4, Robbo 2, Saggsy 1, Hey Arnold (Football Head or just Jonesa) 1
Rd 3 - 8-0 goalscorers - Robbo 4? Saggsy and Cruoch scored the rest.

No mention of Cantona seven. Buckling under the pressure perhaps?

Screaming eagles looked to be missing 'The Engine' tonight with Robertson out but the job was done. Two blazing Volleys by Crouchy saw the eagles with their noses infront but it was Podolski in goals that was keeping the carefacta boys at bay. The gaffer looked to have broken th duck when he spanked a kick in from the side line but it was the keeper that actually was given the goal leaving the luckless midfielder still yet to get on the score sheet. With Podolski still getting the radar in he missed a flurry of chances after getting into brilliant positions but seemed to be aiming at standard size goals untill crouchy took him under his wing letting him know the goals are infact a fair bit smaller, with that advice podolski picked up the ball and slotted the final goal in the bottom corner.
Then with number 5 on the cards Soccer Head found himself in a brilliant position in the 6 yard box but fuck knows how he cleared the fucking main north road!
