Will be tough without Puyol and Iniesta.
Chelsea held them to 0-0 last year. Who knows. Barca will need to be ahead 1-0 at half time to have any chance i think.
Time to see what Messi is made of too.
Bench Ibra and either play Messi or Henry centrally. Otherwise pump crosses to Ibra.... ( which won't work)
need to play a wider game too, that's how the scored the first goal, and that's how they need to attack to break them down.
Inter are playing with 2 CDM's so anything in the final third can't be too central.
I can't understand why more teams don't play this way against the likes of Messi, Fabregas and, to some extent, Lampard who like to operate in the hole between defence and midfield. Great tactics from Jose. It will be interesting to see what Guardiola does to combat it.

Pretty sure Mourinho wouldn't agree with that especially as they took care of Man U early on.

I don't like lies. I have understood your market where sometimes lies sell more than truth. This is your life and I don't like it. I understand your work and I have to work with you, but the protection of my group is much more important than you

harsh on Alves, I rate Maicon higher but 100X? Alves is still up there in my top 3 picks for right back.
Essien I rate highly (as I do most CDM at big clubs) and probably one of the best when fit, but you've got to be on the park to prove your worth.
Cambiasso for me is better at getting his body to back up week after week over the years and is a clone Javier Zanetti when it comes to leadership by example. When allowed to push up doesn't have problems scoring either, very under rated player even in Argentina.

Alves can't defend, and his delivery at times is below par.
Maicon is a box to box right back.
I agree with the consistency factor, it's why i rate Zanetti so highly too. Mourinho has half the fkn Argentinian team in his squad!

Seriously it's time for Mario to grow the shiraz up,i don't think he'll be at Inter next year let alone seria A.He's burning all his bridges.

Sell the tit to Mancino let him handle that problem.
Bravo Inter a la mierda Barca...now they must suffer for being so arrogant...also the hypocracy astounds me *2 weeks ago* "Barca doesn't speak about referees"...yesterday....every barca player and his dog was whinging about the ref...but no one said anything about Messi knocking Maicon's teeth out...pshht Ronaldo does that he gets 7 red cards and banned for life.

That's because Ronaldo's reputation is that he's a sulky little prick.
Messi's is that he's humble and just gets on with playing the game.
It's the same reason Drogba gets in trouble every time something happens.

But that just illustrates my point, it has nothing to do with the way each player plays the game, it's got more to do with how likeable each player is...how is that bias fair in any way?? The rules of the game don't say "selectively apply rules based on judgement of character" they say something along the lines of "dangerous play to be penalised with yellow card/red card etc."

This just illustrates why video replays are a great idea, as i've always said the referees can NEVER control the big games anymore.
The amount of penalty appeals that are turned down, the incidents that are missed, this should not happen in this day and age and i think it allows the teams to foul their way to victory in alot of cases.
I personally don't believe in video replays, I think human error is a fundamental part of the game, having said that referees should still be made accountable for their actions and in clear actions where a guy loses his teeth...the offending player should be booked and if he isn't, the referee shouldn't be allowed to ref in major games for quite some time.

you'd be left with no referees in this scenario, and Overbo would be refereeing U/10's for the rest of his life.

At the same time, though, Ballack and Drogba shouldn't have played in European competitions this season. Partly for being wankers generally, but mostly because they carried on like pork chops.

If the game was officiated correctly they wouldn't have snapped, just proves again that video replays would have helped in that situation too.

Poor diddums, they didn't get what they wanted. Perfectly justifies their actions, doesn't it.

lol, now you're just fishing...
Possibly, but my point's still valid.
Again if FIFA had video refereeing, the game could be played more professionally ( IE: players won't feel hard done by, and act unprofessionally towards the officials, officials would also be treated with more respect due to this too).

Possibly. I don't know that players will ever stop feeling hard done by. Apart from Blatter's intransigence over the purity of football, and his continued attempts to ensure that all rules can be implemented at all levels of the game, I don't think the mechanism of using it has been fully worked out to an acceptable level yet anyway.
Oh. And it doesn't stop Ballack and Drogba from being wankers. ;)
