Congratulations to The Dale!

Post by Ernie Cooksey »

Rochdale sealed promotion to League One thanks to Chris O'Grady first-half winner against Northampton at Spotland.
Chris Dagnall set up O'Grady for the crucial goal, and he made no mistake firing into the top corner.

O'Grady came vclose to a second when he had a shot saved and then headed the rebound against the bar.

But Rochdale had done enough to secure their first promotion since 1969 - ending concerns arising from a wobble which had seen them take only one point from their last four games.
Supporters celebrated wildly at the end of the match, enjoying a joyous pitch invasion.

Congrats to the Dale after a solid season and look forward to 2 great local derbies next season. My only question is what's gonna happen with Chris O'Grady, the Latics striker on loan at Spotland whose 23 goals have helped secure promotion.

i presume the fa will punish them for their pitch invasion. Played up as WW3 when it happens at some clubs, boisterous jubilation when it happens at others.
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:

Colossus: One House

Costa: One Lunch

Oh and add in

Colossus: one photo and one letter from his "attorney".

Looked like they were running away with it at one stage but a few recent results were shaky. It's been well documented on how long they have been in that division.
