Was nice to finally meet Nick, good set up at Southern knights (Great program I did have a chuckle how maroon got into your emblem), good support, good atmosphere, pitch is a bit rough but best id seen it for a while (Early season also). It goes to show that no matter what level you play having 2 good strikers is key to alot of success. Disappointing day for TTG but its early in the season with plenty of time to bounce back. Although it didnt have anything to do with the outcome the Ref made some very strange decisions. My favorite is a tie between not calling offside BUT giving a goalkick (this was TTG kicking the ball out for a corner?) and the 2nd BUT very dangerous was our player went down and the ref told him he was fine and to get up eventually letting the trainer on to treat him, ok one last one... the ref stopped the game and went to Southern Knights coach and said to move the people from behind the goals (at the end with a fence up) or he wasnt going to restart the game, I pointed out to the ref that at the other end there was a womans game (Gardens VS Panthers) with spectators (Kids included) and NO FENCE but that didnt matter. Good luck to Southern Knights for the rest of the season, finally can someone tell me the job title of Mr Steven Ling y,day he was. Trainer, Water boy, ball boy, after game organiser, net taker downer! Its great to have people like him involved in the club, was good to see you again mate! Bomber I thought Lyndon Parry was one of if not there best player.

I was out at the Knights on Sunday to watch their clash with the Gully as well & I have to agree with LRO & his comments about the ref.

I thought some of his decisions during the game we're quite perplexing to be honest. I think it was the Knights 2nd goal the scorer seemed to handle the ball to bring it under control before he finished it, 2 players went up for a ball in the Knights penalty area and the Gully player seemed injured but the ref didn't think it was a good idea to bring on the trainer & I'm not too sure what he was on about when he was talking to the Knights coach seemed a bit stupid to me. Think he should've concentrated on the game & not worrying about pety little stuff going on everywhere else.

Not taking anything away from the knights though, they we're quality & deserved to win.

It's either that or let him play

Lyndon was also very generous on the day....he let this golden opportunity go for Torsten Rutter to score his second goal.....a true team player..

Thanks for the kind remarks LRO, hopefully i dont get that lifetime ban lol...

The pitch is already showing abit of wear and tear but sharing with a FFSA club its always going to be hard.. Especially there was a juniors game or 3 before the B's ..

and yes Lyndon" Tom Hanks" Parry did score but missed the best opportunity to score another..

I even saw Lingy putting out the cones for the first team warm up either he's got nothing else to do or the coaching staff are lazy.

Hey LRO Friday when you gave Swanny your team sheets I notice your name's not on the A's or B's list did you not want to let on that you were playing :?:
